This product will most likely keep your hair straight overnight- but you MUST use a hair straightener or a blowdryer in order for this product to work. It says on the description, and I was told that this product is heat-activated.

It would depend on your hair type. If your hair is already pretty straight then yes. But if you hair is curly like mine you'll need to use a flat iron on it in the morning. The good news is that your hair will look great and last for days.

Straight is heat activated for chemically relaxed hair, meaning with each application of Straight, you must use the flat-iron. This makes the product most effective and long-lasting.

I went to sleep, and it seems to help my hair from getting all wavy. It was super easy and fast to restraighten in the morning too.
You should try the product. Especially bc if you don't like the product, Sephora has an amazing money back guarentee to all their products. Just take it back!

Worth a try, definitely!

Does this work on gray hair?
Since I'm about 50% gray, I don't find many products that work on the coarse texture of the gray hair and I find I always have flyaways and a little frizz. Just wondering if anyone with a lot of gray had tried this product.

Product is applied on wet or dry hair, and then heat styled (flat ironed) for best results. Your straight hair will last for days. No need to wash or get wet, b/c the polyflueroester repels dirt, dust and oil so your hair will stay cleaner longer. If you wash your hair you will have to re-apply and restyle.

In my experience, only shampooing negates the effects of Living Proof. A simple shower, keeping your hair dry, shouldn't make it loose effectiveness. You'll probably need to re-smooth with hair dryer or flat iron, however.

Yes, it's not like a keratin treatment or something. But most people don't need to wash their hair everyday anyway! Your hair will still be straight the next day...spray a good dry shampoo in your roots to keep it looking fresh. I like Ojon dry shampoo, personally.

Yes, should be. You should always check with your airline and/or TSA just to be sure but it's the same as bringing on a small bottle of hairspray - which I take with me when I fly, which is usually 1 to 2 times per month, sometimes international.

Yes. Use just like the bottle says. I went to the product website, where they have videos and tips about it. Works really well except when my bangs get damp in high temperatures. Then the ends will tend to start waving a bit. I use on damp hair before drying, then on each section as I use the flatiron. Lasts up to 3 days for me.

I can only speak for the shampoo and conditioner. I'm not sure thisine has a relax system. As far as the styling and wash products they is no formaldehyde, no parabens or sulfates which usually dry hair out. Theyhelp you to manage the frizz and humidity no necessary straigten the hair. When you use the products the way they intend you get best results and you see the results are more enhanced with blowdrying and styling...This product will work differently depending on your hair texture but it's worth a try....
