Yes, it will. If your hair is very thick, I would recommend using something in tandem with this, like the (now discontinued) straight making styling treatment for thick to coarse hair. I haven't found a replacement yet, and their nourishing styling cream isn't great. I suggest using whatever straightening product you are currently using and add this on top. It really helps.

I would definitely try this product if you do a daily straightening. My hair was more manageable than ever with each day I applied it after washing. I especially noticed that my hairline was not frizzy when I woke up and that never happened before!

I have really curly hair and love the product but not to straight my hair. I use it after I blow dry my hair, usually the next day. It keeps my hair straight longer and protects against humidity. I don't use finishing oils anymore. But I don't know if this is gonna work the same for you, its worth to give it a try.

Hello, allow me to answer. I have natural curly, thick/coarse hair. There are not many products that will straighten my hair without leaving it frizzy. There are only 2 product lines I have found that work great. This is one of them. I recommend you use the straight shampoo and conditioner as well. I works wonders.

Yes. Use just like the bottle says. I went to the product website, where they have videos and tips about it. Works really well except when my bangs get damp in high temperatures. Then the ends will tend to start waving a bit. I use on damp hair before drying, then on each section as I use the flatiron. Lasts up to 3 days for me.

This product will most likely keep your hair straight overnight- but you MUST use a hair straightener or a blowdryer in order for this product to work. It says on the description, and I was told that this product is heat-activated.

It would depend on your hair type. If your hair is already pretty straight then yes. But if you hair is curly like mine you'll need to use a flat iron on it in the morning. The good news is that your hair will look great and last for days.

Straight is heat activated for chemically relaxed hair, meaning with each application of Straight, you must use the flat-iron. This makes the product most effective and long-lasting.

I would recommend using a shower cap when you shower after you have applied the product (unless you are planning to shampoo and condition). It works to resist humidity but I would think that getting your hair all wet in the shower each time would make it less effective since it is a finishing product. It would just be counter productive not to use a shower cap. Of course you could just re-spray and dry your hair after coming out of the shower. It would just be a bit more time consuming.

Product is applied on wet or dry hair, and then heat styled (flat ironed) for best results. Your straight hair will last for days. No need to wash or get wet, b/c the polyflueroester repels dirt, dust and oil so your hair will stay cleaner longer. If you wash your hair you will have to re-apply and restyle.

In my experience, only shampooing negates the effects of Living Proof. A simple shower, keeping your hair dry, shouldn't make it loose effectiveness. You'll probably need to re-smooth with hair dryer or flat iron, however.

Yes, it's not like a keratin treatment or something. But most people don't need to wash their hair everyday anyway! Your hair will still be straight the next day...spray a good dry shampoo in your roots to keep it looking fresh. I like Ojon dry shampoo, personally.

Since there is no description of the texture of your hair (i.e. chemical relaxer, virgin/natural hair) hopefully this will help some. However, I am half Black/Hispanic with mixed textured hair use hair color with highlights but I use an "Air Brush Hair Dryer" therefore no dry frizz.
Please read the directions, very helpful. I make four parts, dry each section seperately & use Living Proof Straight Spray as directed, the product does suggest using a flat iron after drying this will give you awesome results. It takes time I wash my hair once a week and this product will keep it smelling great, shiny, fresh looking with lots of hair motion. Believe me this product will do everything discribed no lies here. I been using it for months!
Touch ups are real easy. Do sleep on a silk pillow case or pin your hair.
