I wouldn't. Think of this as a moisturizer just like you put on your face. You still wash your face and moisturize.

No, still use a good quality wash out conditioner after shampooing regularly. I would recommend using Phyto 7 after every wash, towel dry then comb with a wide tooth comb. Use as a leave-in, and style however you'd like. REMEMBER to be gentle with your hair whilst wet, that's when it's extremely delicate.

It's a hair cream for moisturizing your tresses, much the same way a person moisturizes their face. Use a little EVERYDAY, just as diligently as you would use a facial moisturizer. If I've just washed my hair, I use it while my hair is still damp. And on other days, I apply it before styling products. I use a ears-down approach, so my roots don't get oily.

In my opinion, you would either use a leave-in-conditioner OR use 7, not both. If I use 7 everyday, I don't need a leave-in, my hair is not dry.

Hi, this is NOT a conditioner. (Although Phyto does offer a conditioner). This product is used to hydrate the hair after you've showered. It helps with frizz, fly aways, and provides balance for your hair.

This is a leave-in conditioner. At least, that is the way I used it. I didn't have any problems with thick, sticky hair that some conditioners - even leave-in ones, will cause. It was light weight and very hydrating. I used it two days in a row after having sun and wind damaged hair, brittle from the sun. The hydration lasted for days after.

After you towel dry your hair apply a dime size amount starting at your ends and working your way up. You can also add a little bit more on your end once your hair is dry to take care of any frizzies.

You can put it on either damp or dry hair- the results will be the same.

This is step one for me when I get out of the shower & have towel dried my hair. It allows my comb to slide through my hair without pulling or breaking and it never leaves that gross silicone slime behind...just lightweight conditioning where you need it. I don't think it would do much for already dry hair. It is not a texture product or a shine serum.

Towel dried hair is usually still damp. Don't put it on your dry dry hair, just towel it off a bit first.

You can put it on dry hair as well, to tame any frizz. I would not put it all over dry hair, but using it as a touch up would work great. I usually use it as a leave in conditioner.

I've used this product on my towel dried hair when just out of the shower and I've used it as a pick me up on my dry hair where my ends look frizzed or dryed out. It can be used for both and works great, leaves no residue on mine used either way.

I think "damp" means towel dried (not sopping wet). That is how I use this product and it's fabulous. Hope that helps.

Since it is a leave in, it works best if you apply it after you shampoo & towel dry your hair. If your hair is really dry or you don't wash your everyday, it can still be applied to your hair when dry.

I color my hair every six weeks with great results. It protects the hair so much from overstyling and coloring. You will be happy. It is strange to comb through your conditioner and leave it on. But you used to it. And oh, boy does it feel soft, look shiny. You'll get compliments all the time on your hair.

The mask is something you put on in the shower, let it stay on there for 10-15 minutes (not sure exactly how long the directions say, but this will allow good penetration), and then rinse it out. You put the Phyto 7 on as a leave-in conditioner. I have long, fine hair but lots of it and probably use a couple of quarter size dollops of it, rake it through all over, and style as usual.

The hydrating cream is smoothing and does wonders for my dry, fine hair. After shampooing, I get as much water out of my hair as possible before putting a small amount of this onto my hair and then I blowdry.

The mask is more of a deep conditioner.

I put a nickel-sized dab of the Phyto 7 Cream on my hands and just lightly run them over the ends of my hair. Adjust the amount for your hair.

Phyto 7 is added after you get out of the shower and your hair is wet to damp. You can focus on hair ends, then work up to scalp.

Shampoo and condition your hair regularly. Towel dry, comb out with a wide tooth comb. Apply a small amount of Phyto 7 to your hair evenly, then style as usual. Remember to be extra gentle when your hair is wet, that's when it is extremely delicate. I hope this helped :)

Absolutely. That's how I use it. You will have to experiment, but it's a cream - you don't need to use much. A bit different than spray in conditioners. It's wonderful!

Unless you use way too much, it absolutely wil not weigh your hair down, but does make it silky smooth. I would think this coating of the hair shaft would help with your electrical issues!

It dosn't really weight it down for me any how and it sounds like we have the same hair. I'm in northern new england and I really liked this product throught the winter and summer for that matter. I tend to wear my hair pinned up most of the time but didn't really have issues with the static unless I had just washed and wore a wool hat. I'm not sure if it's more humid here in the winter then there tho that might make a diffrence.

It doesn't weigh my hair down - I don't use a lot, though, just about a dime-sized dollop rubbed between my hands & smoothed over all of my hair. My hair is long, past the middle of my back & pretty thick. It seems to tame the static electricity, too, for the most part.

I've added a gel to my hair after using the Phyto 7 and it seemed just fine. I have not tried making a cocktail out of it though so I'm not sure how it would mix. I have tried mixing other products in the past and some work while others won't. If you aren't mixing them in your hand though I think it works fine with other products.

I use Phyto 7 with a bunch of other products including styling cream, sprays & gel. It really serves as a base for combing through and providing a light conditioning layer to your damaged areas (like ends or sides where you may style more heavily).

I have used it with wax or gel when I want more control and it does great. View Phyto 7 as the thing that removes frizz and makes your hair silky while the wax/gel allow you to style it. Use the Phyto 7 first like a normal leave-in conditioner.

I think it probably depends on your hair consistency and how much you use. I have fine hair and I'd be afraid to use both this and gel for fear of it being too heavy. With coarser hair it would probably be no big deal. Best bet, maybe experiment. I'm still guessing at how much of this product to use . YOu dont' need a lot.

Id say to think of this product as a “leave in conditioner” rather than a styling product…so I guess it would be ok to use with wax or gel. I have pretty thin hair and I found this stuff doesn’t make my hair greasy or limp..just use the very tiny amount they recommend on the tube and you should be fine.
