Hi! Don't know if you have already purchased this product, but here are my two cents...

I have very similar features as you. I have hazel eyes, dark brown hair and fair skin. I too only like a hint of color. I guess I'm shy of vibrant and darker colors, simply because I'm not used to wearing them. I personally found Succulant Pomegranate to be too much color. I bought Cool Guava. I love it. Don't be daunted by the image online. That one will give you a little color without it being too overpowering. However, I don't think it will be a good fall/winter color. Any color you choose will most likely be great! I LOVE this product...

You might want to try the dark berry; a single layer would have some pinky/red color, additional layers will darken the shade. Most of the other colors are very light.

Try Lush Coconut or Juicy Grapefruit. We have similar coloring, and I like natural shades. The "coconut" looks brown in the tube and in photos, but imparts a beige-pink tint on lips (and when applied to a white tissue). The Juicy Grapefruit shade will add a bit of pink with shimmer. It would be hard to go wrong with either shade.

I ask several time at store and they told me it's no.2. That's why I buy it. But, I don't think it would show the same on your lips, because this collection is so sheer. I know the lip color on the modle is so delicious, but the true color is not the same. I still recommend it, it's so moisture and smells so good.

Question
does Volupte Sheer Candy plump lips?
The more info para mentions spheres that penetrate lips and swell (like how other lip plumpers sometimes work). I'm wondering if this product also does it, as no one has commented on that effect.

No, YSL Sheer Candy does not have any lip plumping effects. For lip plumping I use Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Lip Plumping Gloss.

No - these days every product claims to plump your lips and make your eyelashes grow and make you ace the LSAT without studying, so take claims like this with a boulder-sized grain of salt. Using a glossy color like this DOES make lips APPEAR fuller. For added fullness, use lipliner to line VERY slightly outside of your natural lip line, blend, add gloss/lipstick (don't go too dark unless you have full lips already), and add something with shimmer to the middle of your lower lip and along your cupid's bow.

I agree with Andreita. I decided to try this on in the store in the Cherry color. When I first put it on, I thought "meh". It just seemed like a regular lipstick that smelled great. I walked around the store and looked at my lips about 2 minutes later and was amazed. It took a second to do it's magic, but it definately creates a very smooth and shiney look, which is why I think it "plumps". What is also great is that it seems to last all day. Not necessarily the shine, but the color stains the lips too. Maybe not for the lighter shades, but definately stains for the Cherry.

01 Lush Coconut will complement your complexion, but 06 Luscious Cherry will also work because of it's golden shimmer, and the sheer pink cherry tint will add more youth and playfulness to your age. Then again, these shades are all so sheer and wearable. I think either one of them will look good on anybody with any type of complexion. Experiment and have fun:)

While the photos look really bright and vibrant, this product actually applies more like a gloss. Even though there are several colors to choose from they are all very sheer. Ex: The grapefruit has almost no color at all, just shine and the coconut has a faint, almost mocha hint to it.

Question
Is this worth the money?
I've read the reviews and people say it feels, looks, and tastes amazing on the lips. I have fair skin and light brown hair that i'm thinking of dyeing bright red. I've always looked good in berry colors, so I'm thinking of getting the mouthwatering berry flavor. IS IT WORTH $32, THOUGH? it seems awfully expensive. you'd think it was made of gold flecks or something. Would you guys recommend this product to me?

Depends on your budget. If you buy a lip product every week, this is not for you, unless you're an heiress. My rule of thumb is moderation. Try something first, go home sleep on it. If you can't live without it and think about it a lot, start putting a dollar aside everytime you think about it. By the time you get to the price point, you'll have either obssessed about it enough or found other uses for your dollars. Btw, YSL has a gloss with gold flecks in it: gloss volupte (I think).

If it's something that you know you'll be wearing frequently AND it looks great on you, then go for it. Personally, I feel less horrible about spending $$$ on something which I know I'll be using a lot, and this is one of those things because it's so easy to wear, particularly as a day-to-day staple.
