This is for daily/regular use. The mask generally for weekly/bi-weekly use...you know, for those days when you know ur hair needs an extra treat cause you've been bad to it. On the days I use the mask, I don't use the conditioner. I use the mask in replacement, of it. Hope that helps :)

I used it on it's own. That what I was instructed to do. Never thought to use it together. I would think that would be over kill.

I have no idea. The sales girl at Sephora told me to use this daily. She didn't say anything about the hair mask. You tell me!

I would use the repairing conditioner right after a wash, and the mask for deep conditioning when you can leave it on for while.

I have been using it without the mask: it kind of is like a mask itself. The conditioner is extremely rich and delivers results on its own. I would imagine you would need the mask if your hair is in a very dire condition. Mine had gone without a salon for three months, so it was dry, tangled and shedding, and the conditioner helped me a lot. For worse issues, you might want extra help, but for anything less than nightmarish hair, the conditioner is likely to suffice.

Used with and without the repairing mask. Depends on feel of my hair and environmental conditions.

As I understand it, the conditioner is meant for everyday use after shampoo. The hair mask is meant to be used once a week or so for deep conditioning.

This product does everything it claims that it does! First product ever to be what it says it is. I am a Caucasian and it works wonderful for me. Try it and you'll see. The only thing I can say is that I wish they made a bigger bottle of this conditioner.

Used with it. This is just like a regular conditioner and the other is a "special" treatment. :)

Question
Has anybody else noticed more hair loss in the shower?
I've used this product twice now and it works wonders, but every time I shower I lose 5 times as much hair than if I use my old shampoo and conditioner (Aussie). Has anybody else noticed this? I lose 50 + strands of hair per washing! I use the shampoo, conditioner and the mask exactly as the instructions say on the box.

At first, yes. Not quite that much hair though. That sounds excessive.i still shed some..but it seems to be unhealthy hair. My hair itself has never looked better.
I'd be concerned. This just may not be the product for you. If this continues, I'd discontinue use. There are many products out there. I suggest buying the travel/trial size of others before committing. Hope this helps :) good luck!

I've noticed less hair loss in the shower. Honestly, your hair might be falling out from lasting negative affects of previously using bad hair care products. Other things affect hair loss as well, such as stress.

This product is very natural and does not contain and harmful chemical ingredients unlike the other product you mentioned.

Actually I have had the EXACT opposite. I used to have my hands covered in hair to the point where I had to ball it up to keep it from clogging my drain, now I might find one hair on my hands. Sorry you are having a problem with it, its my miracle product!

I actually noticed the opposite when I started using it. After having a baby I was losing my hair like crazy. I've only been using the monoi products for a few weeks now, but I've noticed less hair loss.

I have actually seen an improvement in my hair since using the product, but I also use the shampoo that goes with it or another organic sulfate-free shampoo if I've run out of Carol's Daughter. Some of the detergents that are in your Aussie shampoo may not be working well with the conditioner. Check your diet and heat styling product usage too. Good luck!

Yes! I forgot to mention that in my review. I noticed right away that I was losing way more hair using this shampoo. I usually use the Fekkai stuff which I love.
