This is one of the few lipsticks which I don't need to wear a liner with.

I've worn this with and without lip liner. If it's a bright color, you probably want to have the liner. If you opt to not wear the liner, I recommend applying it with a lip brush to follow the lines of your lips and brush it in - seems to help it from traveling.

I don't use liner... this is pretty much replaced lip liner for me. The color pops and last without lip liner...another good reason to get this!

This hydrates well & does not seep into the lip crack lines. You might consider exfoliating gently & moisturizing the skin around the lips to avoid the lip line situation. Some foundation powder might help, too. Sparingly & light around the lip area.

With this one, I don't think you need any lip liner. The color itself is bold enough to create the effect of a liner. It doesn't fade as much as other lines.

Have not had that problem at all with this lippie. I do know a good remedy for that though, maybe it could help you. I dot concealer around my lipline AFTER I apply my color. Good luck !

It doesn't on me. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, if that helps.

Question
lipstick color
I have full lips and I have a pale to beige skin tone(typical asian skin tone). I am wondering which color of this lipstick should I get in order to enhance the natural shape of the lip but not too shinny or too redish.

I would avoid the ones with shimmer and would go with the 164. It is matte but silky and highlights the fair skin-tone very nicely.

101 is a very subdued beige. I love it for work when I need to be serious(ie big wigs are coming from HQ)! Really this 101 is soft and light, very subtle and pretty! I highly recommend this for those who want a more natural look as opposed to 120 - a lovely light red that makes my blue eyes pop.

If you are looking for a good natural, feminine, soft look, I suggest #161- Cherry Blossom. It is not a flat pin. In the tube you can see the swirl dimensions and on the lips it gives a very polished silky look. Enjoy, hope this helps :-)

From my experience using Automatique in comparison to Guerlain, the Guerlain is more creamy and moisturizing, the automatique is more matt texture, the packaging Guerlain is more luxury, automaitque is more light and convenience. I love both honesty, very satisfy :D

Guerlain kiss kiss are more hydrating and moisturizing, the automatique is really just the same formula as the other guerlain lipsticks trust me! It's just that the packaging is different, not very smart by the way, you really have to pull out the lipstick to apply it without having the plastic square bothering you and this made my lipstick break after 2 mo. of use :(
