I hate sparkle in my gloss. Dolce Vita looks very natural with a little shine and a little natural looking color. I'm fair, with blue eyes and blonde hair and it is perfect daytime and a little heavier application for evening. I also have the lipstick which is sheer and I may just keep buying the gloss only. Highly recommend.

It depends on the undertone of your skin. I am fair and have cool undertones and love colors of the mauve or wine family on my lips like dolce vita or rose gitane. Or maybe tempest would be pretty.

I have thin lips and pale skin and I recommend Striptease first, then Turkish Delight. Someone recommended Greek Holiday...which is totally wrong because it is extremely sparkly.

Play around! Any color that does not say "shimmer" or "sparkle" in the description would work. Be brave and try something unexpected-darker colors that might freak you out in the tube can be very sheer and pretty against pale skin.

Stolen Kisses might be a good color for you - it is very complimentary to the color of natural lips and it does not have glitter or shimmer in it.

I would recommend a gloss from urban decay, they have fun colors and they are moisturizing the lips while you are wearing them! I also like the fact that they aren't over powering and to shimmery.

Dolce Vita is a great color- it looks great on fair skin and I don't think it's sparkly. But all the glosses do have a high shine.

i really love the turkish delight. its a soft pink and i use it with MACs angel lipstick and MAC's stripdown lip liner and I notice that it does make my lips fuller. i have dark skin and this looks alright on me but i think this color would look better on someone with lighter skin

Try the Pillow Talk shade for a softer, lighter color without too much sparkle. The neutral shades are very natural looking and you don't even need lipstick underneath..I have very fair skin and can wear many shades of this lip gloss.

i would try Nars' "Frisky Summer," "Chihuahua" or "Orgam."
Everyone seems to like the Orgas lipgloss but i seem to think it is a bit over rated.

Smashbox lipglosses are nice and glossy, and have a lot of colors that don't have shimmer. I need the shimmer to add fullness to my lips, so that's the only brand I use that don't have shimmer.

I've got fair skin and really like 'Babe.' Use it lightly, and the orange shades make it look almost earthy on me, but it's also an eye-popper shade when applied more thickly. Of course for fall you might want to use a darker shade.

I would take a look at nars gloss in dolce vita. It's kind of a rose mauve. Sometimes I feel like it's a little too dark for day, but i put rose salve on my lips first and it gives you just the right amount of color.

I would recommend a lip stain/lip plumper in one. For a splurge, try the Fusion lip plumping lip gloss, or you can try the Rimmel Underground lipstain/lip plumper in one.

I would recommend this color for thin lips though it does have sparkle it is very subtle.

Buxom lip glosses from Bare Escentuals. Glossy, not glittery. They up the plumpy pout factor without making you look like sequins are glued to your lips.

Nars. All lip gloss is sticky in my opinion and it should be. But this won't capture 1000 strands of your hair and trap it like some I've used.

Org asm lip gloss is the best! Its not sparkly but has the perfect color. Im fair and its light enough not overwhelm me but still a gorgeous color :) I use it almost every day. I use the org asm lip gloss with the org asm blush/bronzer like everyday. Hope this helps!

Clinique makes a lot of good shades. One of my favorites is the Superbalm moisturizing gloss is Ginger.

If you're up for bold, go for Bloodwork. I have fair skin, blue eyes and dark-ish brown hair, and I love it. It's basically red vinyl for your lips, so be prepared!

I would asy your eye color has a lot to do with it... but, Nars Tempest seems to be great... and it would go good with all skin types and will be perfect for the fall.

The Nars Lip Glosses have a very smooth texture and are not sticky.

Truth be told, it IS sticky, but the only difference between this and MAC glosses is that it is not as sparkly/frosty. But let's face it the best lipglosses have to be a little sticky to have long-lasting shine and wear.

I got a sample of Chihuahua and fell in love instantly. I love the consistency of Nars' glosses as it is pretty thick and no where as sticky as other glosses. I rarely ever use lip gloss because they are always sticky and get on my hair but this will now be the only one I always use. I LOVE IT for some color w/o stickiness and w/o having to do full lipstick which is higher maintenance. I found it to be moisturizing enough for me. I don't need any balm under to keep my lips from getting chapped.

Chihuahua is similar to my lip color so it kind of amps ups my lips (not a nude shade, just similar to my lip color). This shade doesn't have any shimmer in it at all. I tried this in Giza and Ophelia and those just didn't work on me. I'm light skinned (MAC NC 25-ish).

MAC's Lipglass extremely pigmented and sticky. It gets stuck in your hair a LOT as well. Nars is a much more natural and still sexy look to each color. If you are willing to pay more, its worth it.

MAC's lipglass is MUCH stickier. Nars' is creamy and the colors are more wearable for every day. If you're willing to splurge a little, Nars is definitely the lip gloss brand to try. The colors are flattering, sheer, and one dip of the wand gives you perfect color. Most importantly, it lasts a long time for a gloss.

I think MAC Lipglass is wayyy stickier than NARS. It's just a fifferent look. The MAC is more high-impact, vinyl-looking shine. NARS is more sheer, and definately more wearable for everyday. If you kissed someone with MAC on it would be so gross-the consistency is kinda like peanut butter!

I have olive skin, brown eyes and brown hair, and the best nude I saw was Greek Holiday. The color online does NOT do it justice at all. Striptease was too light. Tempest was okay as well. For a puckered color, Ophelia is amazing! Orgasm is nice, but its a bit pearly. Super Orgasm is a bit too pink and glittery for me. Going to the store is your best bet to see what you like yourself. I thought Ophelia wouldn't be that great, but in stores it was literally a PERFECT match!

I would recommend Guava or Striptease. Guava is kind of an apricot/peachy pink color, and striptease is a nude, slightly pink color.

I find that the sheerer colors last the longest, but that may be because it's less noticeable when they fade.

I don't think it really lasts through eating or drinking, sorry.

It kind of rubs off when I drink a coffee which really sucks! I keep having to reapply each time I eat.

I haven't actually looked into each individual color but it seems like they do contain at least one.

Do keep in mind my resource isn't the actual ingredient from the company. The site I use is usually correct but it's not perfect. If you really want to be sure look at the package or contact the company for an ingredient list.

my best answer for you would be to either go to a sephora store and read the ingredients for yourself, OR contact Nars to find out if any of those mentioned additives are in the lipgloss. Dolce Vita, and Turkish are subtle, but still give a sexy pop. If you wan't a SUPER pigmented pink, Angelika or Super Orgasm would work perfect. But always go to the store and see for yourself, because no camera can get the beauty of it, especially if you see it in person. Good luck!

Have you tried any of the NARS lip glosses? I also am fair with green eyes, but I wasn't looking for bright pink so wear Dolce Vita and Gothika. Both are super. The product overall is excellent.

I also have fair skin and I absolutely LOVE turkish delight. It really is such a great shade of pink for any skin tone.
