Question
Does this rube off on white clothes?

answer 1
Yes it rubbed off on my white clothes, also made my white pillow-cases look dingy.

Somewhat unrelated, but do NOT do bikram yoga if you use it. Literally dripped off in streaks.

It can. It dries pretty fast, but I did have it rub off on the waistband of some white shorts. Probably my fault.

answer 3
This does not rub off after it dries with the following exception: in water, you can take a rough washcloth and vigorously rub it off. I have gone to bed after using this and it did not rub off on my sheets. If your clothing comes in contact before it dries, this launders completely out with Oxyclean and hot water.

This has no shimmer like the leg bronzer does. I really don't like the shimmer.

The leg bronzer is slightly more shimmery but this flash bronzer has the reflective micro-pearls as well so you will still have a shiny finish.

Can I use this product on my face?
A representative at Lancome/Dilard's told me she uses this on her face, but the product states it's a body gel. Can this product be safely used on the face?

Yes I use it on my face. I find it makes me break out LESS than the Lancome oil-free facial self-tanner. AND you get twice the amount for the same price. Seriously, sometimes brands come out with specific products for specific purposes just to sell more product. This works perfectly on my oily skin, if anything its a little drying which I liked.

It sticks. and it sticks pretty well. Also, you get immediate results. This is the fastest self tanner I have ever used! and trust me, I have used many. I have never seen one application of self tanner give this much color, atleast not on me. and yes, it last pretty well compared to others but obviously everytime you wash, you will wash down the intensity but thats the case with any self tanner.

No it does not rinse off. I use the philosophy microdelivery exfoliating body was & it still stays pretty well however if youre gonna exfoliate i would reccomend using the Flash Bronzer every other day just to make sure you keep your nice glow.

I use it on my face all the time! It will come off faster than the rest of your body if you wash your face often, but you can reapply as necessary. Didn't bother my skin at all, it is very gentle.

Absolutely! Until now, I have always purchased two separate tanners. St Tropez for body and Kate Somerville for face. Now I just buy 1 product, this, and get better results, for less $! Also, I break out easy if I put the wrong stuff on my face, so far so good with this going on my face. But I would suggest not sleeping with this on. Use this in the morning before your moisturizer.Try it, if anything return it, but you will most likely love it

From what I can tell, yes! As long as you aren't allergic to any of the ingredients. It is a very soft, non-greasy or irritating gel.

The formulation of this product is oil free and should not cause breakouts if you are applying it to the neck and chest. It would also be safe for the face, but since it is a thicker formulation it may be slightly heavier. Hope this helps!

The Lancome Flash Bronzer is more subtle then the St. Topez mousse. I absolutely love both of them. I typically use the Lancome for my face and neck and the St. Tropez for my body.

I have never used the St Tropez gradual tanner but have used both their regular mouse and the dark. This is WAY better than both! for me, the regular mouse was too light (and im fair skinned!) I had to layer, and layer to get significant results. The dark turned me green! not a good look.. But this is almost perfect. It makes me so golden even after just one application. But in a natural way. Its great, try it!

Question
How does this compare to the previous Lancome flash bronzer?
I was heartbroken when Lancome discontinued their previous self-tanning line- the flash bronzer milk that came in light or dark. Being fair, I always used the light...it was single most natural, flattering self-tanner I have ever tried, to the point where I even used it on my wedding day!

I know that this new version from lancome is a) a gel, so it will be different consistency and b) one-shade-fits all, but is there anyone out there who has tried both the old generation and new generation product who could attest to whether or not the color that develops is similar? Is it natural looking? How dark is it? (I'm most worried about the one-shade-fits all).

I actually just wrote a review about this. I had a bottle from about 2 years ago that I just used up. I loved the old formula, it was more like a lotion, spread well and developed into a nice shade of tan. The new stuff, I've used about 3 times and it streaks and it has that orange shade of self tanner the day after. I would not recommend it.

The coloring on this self tanning gel is slightly more intense as it dries quicker on the skin than the original formula but you can also apply as little or as much needed for the shade you desire. It is oil free as well and is safe for the body but can be applied on the face if necessary. The coloring is slightly darker so you may want to try it out first to see how you like it. Hope this helps!
