How does this compare to the previous Lancome flash bronzer?
I was heartbroken when Lancome discontinued their previous self-tanning line- the flash bronzer milk that came in light or dark. Being fair, I always used the light...it was single most natural, flattering self-tanner I have ever tried, to the point where I even used it on my wedding day!
I know that this new version from lancome is a) a gel, so it will be different consistency and b) one-shade-fits all, but is there anyone out there who has tried both the old generation and new generation product who could attest to whether or not the color that develops is similar? Is it natural looking? How dark is it? (I'm most worried about the one-shade-fits all).

on Flash Bronzer Tinted Self-Tanning Body Gel
I actually just wrote a review about this. I had a bottle from about 2 years ago that I just used up. I loved the old formula, it was more like a lotion, spread well and developed into a nice shade of tan. The new stuff, I've used about 3 times and it streaks and it has that orange shade of self tanner the day after. I would not recommend it.

The coloring on this self tanning gel is slightly more intense as it dries quicker on the skin than the original formula but you can also apply as little or as much needed for the shade you desire. It is oil free as well and is safe for the body but can be applied on the face if necessary. The coloring is slightly darker so you may want to try it out first to see how you like it. Hope this helps!
