answer 5
No it doesn't. It's probably a good idea to buy a separate set of basic makeup brushes. They make applying makeup much easier and they provide better coverage than the brushes that come in most compacts. Also as long as you keep track of them you can use them forever. Just wash them ever 1-3 months with a gentle liquid soap. Sephora brand has some great sets or you can buy each brush individually.

No, this doesn't come with an applicator. You need to buy a medium sized blush brush (if you don't already have one). I actually like Sephora brand brushes (I don't work for Sephora!) because they are mid-priced but are good quality. I wouldn't buy a cheap brush like at a pharmacy and I only have 1 expensive MAC brush (for foundation).

Unfortunatley not, but it can be applied several easy ways. You can use a blush brush, fan brush, or sponge. If you don't have any of those you can also apply it with a cotton ball. It's a little more difficult, but it still works.

I also have fair skin and freckles and your best bet is to try it out in a store - then go OUTSIDE and see what it looks like but I don't find it has an orange tint. I, personally, don't care for it and find it too subtle for my taste - and for being fair-skinned you know it has to be light if I can hardly notice it but if you're looking for something VERY subtle you may like it.

This might be too dark if you are very fair. Try NARS in Org*sm. From what I hear, it is the best for fair/freckled peeps. I'm asian, so it doesn't even show up on me.

PS. The site isn't letting me write the whole name of the color since it is considered "inappropriate language!"

In the picture it looks more orange than it actually is. It is a warm pink . I've used it on my friend with fair skin & light brwn hair and it looked great! Does anybody ever really blush a shade of (cool) plum? It's easier to just put on a little at a time with a brush and just see what you can get away with. If too much take a tissue and blend. I've never overdosed on this blush.

I have major freckles on my face and fair/light skin when I'm not tan. I use the Or&@#sm color by NARS and I really like it. It is extremely universal in color. I apply it with an extremely light hand and I also make sure to knock off any extra from the tip of my brush before applying. This will look like a natural glow incase you aren't use to seeing a lot of color on your cheeks. When I have a tan on my face, I apply it a little darker. You might have been applying it too dark for your own liking.

I have fair, freckled skin, and Or***m turned quite orange on me. I've had great luck using Outlaw. the pink tone matches my natural blush color, which is quite pink. if this tone is too dark for you, try Angelika, which is also a cool-toned pink. a lot of warm colors seem to turn orangey on me. Those with very fair skin need blush, so I like this line for that reason. The formula is sheer and the range of colors is so wide that there is something for everyone. Fair skinned girls do not need to be afraid of blush; in fact they should embrace it and practice application with a light hand.

Deep Throat is a way better choice over Orgasm, in my opinion. I think that color looks way better on me and I have the same skintones as you describe. The other colors I own and enjoy are Sin, Mata Hari, Desire, Angelika, Love Joy, Outlaw, Crazed, Albatross :)

I would actually recommend against Orgasm and go with Deep Throat instead. Orgasm actually has a LOT of pink in it, though it reads as a peach color when it's in the compact, it really can enhance pink undertones in skin.

Deep throat is really a more true peachy apricot color and can counteract that red or pink undertone and even out the skin. It also has less glitter or shimmer than the other blushes, but still has a nice glow to it.

@ nikkila (miami, fl): I purchased and tried "Amour" this weekend, as recommended for a person with fair skin with pink undertones and it is absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! ( I've been using Dolce Vita with wonderful success, but wanted an alternative)

Thanks so much for the suggestion! No sparkle at all, either, so it is extremely natural looking :-)

I have the same colouring, and have recently been using Dolce Vita. I detest blushes with any hints of sparkle, so Orgasm et. al. are "out" for me! I find that Dolce Vita looks incredibly natural (moreso than any other blush that I've tried in the decades that I've been using makeup). It MUST be applied with a VERY light touch, and blended extremely well, but the colour is exquisite, natural-looking, and long lasting. No sparkle is a huge bonus for me!

Amour is Org@sm without the shimmer and a little more depth of color if you apply it with two passes of your brush, and I wear it all the time, especially in winter when my skin is the fairest; if I want some shimmer, I use Deep Throat, which is a lighter peach (no pink) than Org@sm but with nice and subtle shimmer.

I also use Lovejoy powder blush, PennyLane cream, as well as Outlaw powder blush depending upon mood and what I'm wearing or doing. Lovejoy looks scary in the pan, but I guarantee with your green eyes and dust of freckles, you will adore it if you apply it with a light touch.

PennyLane is gorgeously sheer, and gives a kind of dewy look that's great on its own or that can add staying power to either Amour or Deep Throat and probably one of the true pinks like Desire.

A NARS MA told me that they're discontinuing Outlaw, but it's a great deeper rose pink that pairs well with deep jewel tones in my winter sweaters, so if that description appeals, try to get it while it's still available.

As for Org@sm, I have never understood the wide appeal: it's okay, but not always the HG product some people seem to want to make it. And yes, I am a bona fide NARS addict!

I would try Angelika or Outlaw. they may look too pink, but I have very fair, freckled skin, and these pinky toned colors 'balanced out' and looked natural, whereas O****m turned too orange. Nars blushes can be 'deceptive' in their initial appearance; what seems lurid or too dark will be, in fact, perfect for you. the next time you exercise or blush, take note of the color; it's probably a bluish or cool pink tone. I hope this helped!

If only I could spell out the name of the blush made by NARS on this website. But nooooo - that'd be too easy! Go in and inquire about the most popular color NARS makes, and don't flinch when the sales associate hands it to you. (It's an eyebrow-raising name but I'm not the one marketing it.) It's just the right peach-pink combination and looks great on fair skin - subtle shimmer, not obnoxious at all. And don't try to hide those freckles - men love them, they're completely personal, and they're you - your friends would miss them if they were gone.

I would say org*sm. A million women cant be wrong, and when I read about it in magazines it is touted as beneficial for all skin tones. Any pink-y hue would look great on you! I heard this trick back in the day to help find your color --- hang your head upside down for a moment until the blood rushes to your cheeks. This is what color you should aim for and also where you should concentrate the blush. Odd, but it works!

I'd suggest Sin... I'm blonde, blue-eyed and of lighter skin tone... of course any others such as OrG@sm, and Deep Throat are also nice...but I find Sin to be the best to give a natural flush to a blonde-haired person! Plus, Sin is pretty buildable as well...so an extra "pop" to the apple of the cheek and blended upwards, looks awesome! Good Luck :)

Go for a run or walk on a very windy day -- whatever shade you "flush" naturally is the color blush you should consider. Do not be afraid to try something that looks bright or dark -- look in the mirror! Do you turn bright or dark? I'm a light blonde with blue-green eyes and light skin and I use NARS Crazed -- it's bright and dark in the compact. But when I flush, naturally, I turn bright and dark reddish pink. And that is the exact color of this blush! The secret to natural looking results is to put it on last, after your powder, and use a very, very, very light hand. I use a fan brush and barely touch the compact and very gently brush my cheekbones lightly, each a couple of times. It looks natural and I look radiant. I hope you can find a shade that you love as much as I love this.

Earthy tones will do the trick (earthy pinks)! find a blush with a good sheen to it to, to pick up the undertones of your complexion. You can also do the gold/silver test and hold up a piece of tin foil or a gold something to your complexion-- figure out with one compliments your skin tone better. This will help you choose a blush that's right for you.

I'm sure you've heard that Orgasm is the cult-favorite and looks good on everybody, and I've found this to be pretty accurate. I'm not sure how natural you'd like to look, but I kinda think that Amour shade would be pretty on you. It'd be natural, but they're also very buildable (you can put some more on and get a little bolder look). I also just bought the Luster shade and though our skin tones are probably pretty different, you may benefit from that one too- it looks a little brown but goes on kinda peachy-brown. Hope this helps!

There are a lot of people who worry about "sparkles", but I think what they don't realise is most of today's high-end products have what light diffusers in them. When you use a product that has diffusers in it, the light bounces off your face and it gives a soft radiant look. I think this is very important. Try Nars in Orgasm. If you don't like it, Sephora has a terrific return policy. I would avoid matte blushes and eye shadows whenever possible.
