Just want to add to a previous answer from another member, the BB creams sold by Sephora are NOT the only "legally available" ones sold in US. Dr.Jart's official website sell directly to the US customers. Other BB cream brands such as Missha, also sell directly to the US via their official website as well as boutiques.

eBay is the most popular place to get it, as it is also the cheapest.Search "dr.jart silver label". Dr.Jart's official website also sell to the US market, but it's very expensive. Hope this helps.

Fingers!! You use less product. When you use a brush half the product is absorbed in the brush, and there is really no need to use a brush. Goes on more when you use your fingers.

I am a rose beige but got quite tanned this summer and when I put it on, it looked like I was putting milk on my face. Wonder of wonders after blending it looked like it was made for my face. I don't know how this works but it looked like my skin!

I am alot darker because i'm south east asian with golden and biege undertone mix. however , it work best on yellow and pink and red undertone. I'm not for certain with warm undertone, however you are light skin and it might only cause a ash or grey shadow . Just alittle. but if you blend will with another tinted foundation or powder. Then you will pull it off will.

All BB creams are basically the same color. Some people were saying that this BB cream wasn't matching their skin tone because they were not applying this BB cream correctly. This is a BB cream- not a tinted moisturizer, and definitely not a foundation- To apply this, take a large pea sized dot and cover your whole face by blending really well. This will give you a nice amount of coverage. Just remember: blending is key to using this product.
hope this helped!

My fried who is asian and has medium-toned oily skin says it's a little ashy on her face. But I (asian, medium-toned, combination) found the "ashy-look" becomes more natural dewy-look in a few minutes. Maybe it does take some time to be absorbed on oily skin.

This product doesn't have oil-controlling ingredients, so if you moisturize well with a moisturizer before applying bb cream, you should be ok. Dr. jart does have black label bb cream for dry skin:

Yes, this is completely fine for dry skin, oily skin, and pretty much any time of skin. BB Cream is intended for people who want coverage, want to look natural, and don't want to spend time putting on makeup. I suggest that before putting your BB Cream, put some lotion. ~ every time I put BB Cream I first put lotion and some concealer and after that the BB cream. After putting the BB cream I put like translucent powder or a light powder foundation

No. I have combination skin and it highlighted all my dry areas, like around the mouth. I think it might work if you use a rich moisturizer. I found that at the end of the day (at least 5-6 hours later), there are less flakes, so at least it gets better as you have it on longer during the day.

BB Creams were originally designed to protect skin (SPF), reduce redness and irritation (primarily from in-office medical treatments), and help treat/moisturize the skin as it repaired itself (hence the original name "blemish balm"). Asian tv soap stars discovered this and began using it to give a flawless finish, usually under makeup. Now, the "blemish balms" are used for more than minimizing skin imperfections (which is the TRUE meaning of blemish and not necessarily about acne, breakouts, or congested skin), which is why some companies are using "Beauty Balm" or "BB Cream" to describe the product.

The product is essentially the same. The only real difference is that one has more sunscreen than the other. I tried both of them on my skin and I will say that the higher SPF version took longer to blend in and the color came out a bit gray. I would use the lower SPF version in the blue bottle. Unless you are looking for ultimate sun block protection.

That is the coolest part. You will squeeze this out and think no way - but when you put it on your face, it kinda melts into the skin and just evens out the tone. It really doesn't add color, but it isn't mask like either. Give it a few minutes after you use it the first time - and don't glop it on - a little will really do the trick.

Yes it is! Dr. Jart is one of the best BB creams out there and they do sell it in asia too! I am korean and have been using BB creams for years. Before I found out that sephora carried BB creams, I've had my relatives ship out all different brands from korea for me.
This is definitely just as great (if not better) than the BB creams they sell overseas and definitely worth the money!
