I.T. Cream Blush Brush

I.T. Cream Blush Brush

What it is:A flat brush for blending cream or liquid blushes. What it does:This brush applies cream or liquid blush, allowing you to add concentrated color smoothly, precisely, and without streaks. Synthetic Takelon nylon bristles form a high-density angled brush head that's ideal for sweeping the curve of the cheekbones and hollows of the cheeks. The cone-shaped stem allows you to grip near the brush for heavier coverage or toward the tip for more subtle effects. Made of aluminum, the stem's ultra-light weight balances the brush perfectly in the hand. What else you need to know:Intelligent Tools. Innovative Technology. Sephora's I.T. brushes are the result of a collaboration between French designer Philippe Di Meo and the Sephora Pro Beauty Team. The dual-function cap protects the bristles while creating a self-contained stand that stores the brush with the bristles down. Each brush includes a color-coded handle to indicate the corresponding facial region: face: pink; eyes: blue or purple. With this line of brushes, smart design meets professional-quality materials, making it easier to achieve high-definition results when applying makeup.

I use this for foundation! It's pretty decent for both liquid and cream foundations, but can apply a little streaky if I'm not careful.

The shape is flat and dense, and the width of the bristle part is about one inch, comparable to normal flat foundation brushes. The angle makes it really easy to maneuver around the contours of my face.

I keep the cap on the brush all the time and it does enable you to put it in your purse or cosmetic bag without getting the brush dirty.

answer 2
The cap would be perfect for traveling! I clean this brush the same way that I clean all of my brushes; I dip them in alcohol and then wash with brush cleaner or a mild soap. I wipe the cap out with alcohol on a cotton pad.

No idea what the cap is for; if I traveled, I'd take shorter handled brushes! However cleaning is simple: room temperature water and baby shampoo.

Run the bristles under a faucet, being careful not to get water into the ferrule (keep the head of the brush pointing generally downwards). Put a tiny splotch of baby shampoo into your palm and swirl the brush in the shampoo gently. Rinse it clean under the faucet; gently squeeze the excess water out of the bristles; hang it head down in a brush holder / secured to a clothespin / whatever you use to dry brushes. Since it's small, synthetic and not too dense, it should dry completely in 12 to 24 hours.

Question
Brush Shape
The description says its a "flat brush." Is flat like a foundation brush, but with the angle edge instead of rounded? or is it more like a stippling brush that is angled?
Thanks

It is more of a flat brush but angled rather than circular. Definitely not a stippling brush.

answer 2
This brush is half stippling, half flat foundation. That's the only way I can describe it. It is an angled brush.. It applies cream and liquid foundation very well, it allows you to brush it on like a regular foundation brush but it's wide enough to be turned up and used to stipple for that natural air brush finish..it's a nice brush

This brush is slightly more flat in shape like a foundation brush rather than being stippled.
