Question
How does this product work with acne?
if you use an acne cleanser.

Yes but you will probably need the Normal or Deep Cleansing Brush if you have oily skin. The Sensitive one that it comes with doesnt get the face all that clean. Cleanser is also important. You would be surprised how many acne cleansers have mineral and other oils! If your acne is caused by oil you want to get rid of oil not put more on your skin! Best wishes!

I use an acne cleanser with my Clarisonic Mia and it works great. In my opinion I think the acne medication from the cleanser works faster at getting into your pores and clearing out acne that with regular washing.

It made me to break out more, because skin dried out, started to peel and became more vulnerable to infections. This product could be too harsh for a sensitive skin.

NOOOOOO! Do not listen to the above reviewer. Do not use an acne cleanser as it will be waaay to harsh. do use the cleanser Clarisonic gives you with the Mia. Trust me, it works.

I use the mia with Murad Acne cleanser. I have used the Murad for two years now with great results and so I felt no need to change that up with the clarisonic cleanser that came with my mia. Using the Murad with the Mia has made an even bigger difference in my skin. I highly recommend Murad to use with the Clarisonic. :o)

It is not really a bright blue, but it is a deeper color than it appears here because of all the highlights on this photo. I would say that it is similar to a robin's egg blue, but it is not dark or bright--about medium.

I'd say it's a little lighter than sky blue. The picture on the box is also brighter than the actual product.

I couldn't decide on a color, but when I opened the box to see the actually color (while I still was inside the store shopping for it), I had an "oooo" moment. The color was actually nicer the the picture on the box and, I personally liked the blue better than all the other colors. I am a happy camper!

The brush is a bit brighter in person than it's show online, I would call it more of a robin's egg blue if that helps at all

Question
Do you have to remove all makeup before using to deep clean your face?

You do not have to remove make-up prior to using the Clarisonic Mia. However, if you do, you will find the Clarisonic Mia will remove even more of it and there will be brown make-up residue on the brush. And of course, it will not remove your eye make-up so you will have to use a different product for that.

Yes! To get a better and deeper clean you should remove your make up first. The brush will even pick up the make up that the remover can't take off.

Not all all! That's the beauty of this tool. There is no need to clean your face before you can clean your face with the Clarisonic.

Sometimes when I'm lazy I just use the Mia without taking off my make-up. I find that it works quite well with removing foundation, concealer, etc. I don't know about eye make-up but I don't recommend using the Mia on your eye area.

I'm not sure what the plugs look like in Europe, but I live in Australia and I just use an adapter when charging my Mia. It works exactly the same as when I was charging it in Canada. I believe, from memory, that the voltage is worldwide.

Travel friendly. However, for the price one pays for it, I feel one should get a nice bag to put it in, when one travels.

My sister has rosacea and she uses the Mia as well. She does use the delicate brush head though to avoid excessive aggravation to her skin. She also still uses her own facial cleanser instead of the Clarisonic one that comes as your sample.

I have rosacea and it has helped a lot. I use topical treatments for it and using them in conjunction with the clarisonic mia had made me have clear skin for the first time in about two years!

My immediate reaction is that the Clarisonic would make it worse -- I had no skin issues prior to using and it completely ripped my face apart. I didn't even consider my skin to be sensitive but I am still recovering months later and spent a ton of additional cash buying makeup to cover my red, raw blemished skin [never needed real coverage before] and ointment to soothe. I would definitely recommend consulting with a dermatologist before adding such an intense [even with the delicate brush head] exfoliator to your routine.

my mom has mild rosacea so she goes often to the derm and the last time she was there i asked her to ask him what he thought of the clarisonic as i was thinking of getting one.he told her that he recommends them highly for normal skin and that he always tells patients with rosacea that they can try them but just make sure that it does not redden or irritate the skin much.he said as long as it does not make skin red it is ok for the rosacea patient to use the clarisonic.mom has not tried it yet but she is thinking of ordering!
