Do you use this on wet hair?

I have pretty curly hair and have tried every styling product; cremes, sprays, serums, oils...EVERYTHING! and it always ends up that if I put on even an ounce to much my hair has that crunchy weighed down too much product look and feel too it...just want to make sure this wont do the same!

I always used it on wet hair and let it dry naturally and didn't have any problems with it being crunchy. Hope it works for you.

I have very wavy hair that borders on frizzy with the drop of any humidity. I use a curl cream first on wet hair (currently Bumble & Bumble Curl Conscious but also like Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave in Conditioner). Then I put some of this in especially at the ends. I have also used small amounts on dry hair. In this case for ends that look dry only.

There is no crunch with this! This cream actually conditions my super-dry hair and makes it softer!
This is my all-in-one Holy Grail product. I highly recommend.

This stays pliant and non-greasy on my fine hair - no crunchiness, no separating into greasy chunks. there is a travel bag with small sizes available if you are concerned but I love this!

I wouldn't recommend this one as I have the same problem with my hair. I use biosilk to help the blow dry process and love the Alterna Caviar products to include the anti aging spray which helps with a little shine and light smoothing after flat ironing. It doesn't weigh your hair down but gives it a little extra smoothness.

I have thick, porous, wavy, dyed hair. I apply it wet to tame the frizz a bit and then blow dry and add more while styling if neccessary. It isn't greasy or heavy at all and the feel of your hair will be soft for a day or more. Good luck

This product will DEFINATELY not make your hair crunchy! Once you find your "correct amount," it will only make it look soft. Good luck!

I have wavy/straight hair, so I cannot give a curly hair prespecitive. However, I can tell you that this product does not leave my hair crunchy at all....it also does not leave it greasy if I accidently over do it on the product. I use it on damp and dry hair...it is AMAZING for taming frizz and flyaways!

Dentangler too?

I used up my sample size, and am considering the full sized, but I would also like to know whether you consider this a detangling product as well. I will be going on vacation and want to be able to smooth this on after being in the pool and or sea water to detangle and condition at the same time. Tahnks!

I understand this product to be more of a finishing cream to add smoothness and shine without weighing the hair down, or use wet hair. It would give you the wonderful benefits of the ingredients but honestly don't know about a detangler? I think you will love it.

It is a detangler..but to add extra umph to the softness: mix half bamboo leave in conditioner and half Paul Mitchell's leave in conditioner for great results!

I used the sample I got and found that the product itself when aplied to damp hair does not act as a detangler. HOWEVER, once my hair dried, my hair stayed tangle free all day and was silky smooth. So I'd say no it is not specifically a detangler, but it should leave your hair smooth enough to be free of tangles for a while.

I have the same problem with tangles. This product doesn't seem to act as detangler, but before I use this cream, I sprtz some Bumble+bumble Prep on my wet hair before I comb it out. Prep has solved my tangles and there is no problem using with other products along with it.

I am not sure I could call it a detangler, but using this product along with the similar shampoo/conditioner I didn't require any detangler. I use a pick so maybe this helped as well.

I bought this as a styling product, but the online description says it is a shampoo? I have curly/frizzy hair and wanted it to tame my frizzies without and fuss. I used it as a cream after shampooing and conditioning. It really did not do what I thought it would. Should I be using it as a shampoo instead?

Hi! This product is def not a shampoo. I smooth on just a dime size after out of shower and dry it naturally or style it. Either way, it makes a huge difference in my frizz-curly hair!

There seems to be an error on Sephora's part regarding the product description here. This is definitely not a shampoo. It is a leave-in treatment.

They have the shampoo/conditioners as well, but this is a styling product (must be a typo on their description). I have straight hair and it works great to tame my flyaways, and adds a good amount of shine.

From what I can tell so far their products are good for exactly what they say. My hair is on the dry side, and the Shine shampoo/conditioners make my hair a little dryer than I prefer.
