It is a clean smell, kind of crisp in the way that citrus is, but its not too flowery or fruity smelling, both my boyfriend and I use it and like the smell.

Honestly, to me it smelled like dirt. It was really gross. I mean, if you like earthy scents, then you'll like it, but I don't and I found it disgusting smelling.

ok to use w/keratin treatment?
I have a keratin treatment in my hair and was wondering if this is good product to use with keratin treated hair. Currently using Pureology shampoo & conditioner but interested in trying something new when I finish them up. It's sulfate free but ....

I regularly use this shampoo and Kenra and spray in "It's a 10" spray plus Keratin. Works great together and I've gotten more compliments on how healthy my hair looks now!

I have color treated hair and have foil highlights done once every 5 weeks. The Bamboo shampoo line has been wonderful for my hair! I have body, movement, shine and I feel that my hair actually looks good every day. I would think this would be an excellent choice for you.

Moisturizing?
I have hair that is not dyed or permed, but it does get very dry and break often. I'm currently using Sidlab Hair Couture, and was considering trying something new. Does anyone know if this product is good for dry hair prone to breakage?

Personally I probably wouldn't use this shampoo regularly on weaker hair that's prone to breaking.It's awesome for color treated hair and normal/oily hair but it does clean VERY thoroughly and may be too strong for weak hair to use regularly. You could try alternating it and make sure to use a strengthening conditioner or mask with it so that some of the moisture is replaced. I think their Caviar Anti Aging Moisture shampoo would be more suitable for what you need. The Caviar system also has a Re texturizing protein cream that would help a lot!

Alterna has a line called Bamboo Smooth that might be more moisturising and strengthening that Bamboo Luminous Shine. To be sure, the Luminous Shine is a great shampoo, but if you're concerned with moisture and breakage, you might try the Bamboo Smooth as it is designed for drier hair.

I really loved the Caviar Anti-Aging Shampoo and Conditioner, so I thought I would give this one a try.
It's all right, but not that good. For this price I would expect a better product, I feel it did nothing to my hair, and doesn't smell like anything special either.
If you are thinking of getting it, I would highly recommend the caviar instead.

I probably wouldn't use it because it's going to strip a lot of that out of your hair. They make some anti aging moisture shampoo that would keep your hair looking sleek and shiny.
This shampoo makes hair look shiny and adds volume, but it does strip it squeaky clean. Hope this helps!

The bottle is 7 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. It hold a little over two cups of shampoo or conditioner. I have very long hair and a bottle lasts a long time! You don't need much.
