Hi Heather,
Yeah those products are the only ones that you get, honeslty you can use only these products (maybe a little blush) and look really natural. This has become my everyday kit, and I get lots of compliments on it.

When I look at "This set contains" it shows the right products. The products that you listed in "More product details" is what you will receive. It looks just like the picture!

If I understood your question correctly, it appears there is confusion between to different sets, descriptions and reviews implying they are the same thing, and concern there is inaccuracy in what *really* comes with this Smashbox collection.
Did I follow that correctly?
The answer is: There are many different Smashbox value sets and kits with deluxe "trial" sizes so you can try the brand without full financial commitment. The two discussed and described are quite different.
This "Try It Kit" is new, and contains all the fun stuff: lipgloss, mascara, primers . . . Essentially the bells'n'whistles of makeup. Because the "foundation" of most people's makeup regimen is...foundation!
So, the other kit you saw described is a trial introduction collection of the Smashbox face products: primer, concealer, foundation, and finishing powder. It may no longer be carried at Sephora, but I bought mine at a department store. I will, however, be purchasing this "Try It Kit" from my beloved addiction, Sephora.com ;)
(By the way, the Smashbox primer is essentially their flagship product, so it shows up in kits all the time.)
In conclusion, either my reading commitment and comprehension is as worthless and mislead as a certain infamous oft-impersonated lady (wink wink) or .... I mostly answered your question. I hope.
Closing Advice: buy both kits if you can!
Then you can graduate to their even greater kits. This brand knows how to give their fans quality, value, and fun.
