Preferably, the primer should be applied to your face before any type of foundation or concealer. The reason is that it will bond well together with the face primer to allow for the foundation and concealer to last longer rather then having to apply it several times a day.

You should definitely use it after serums, sun screen etc. but before any make up at all. It will help your concealer stay on longer and prevent it from falling into fine lines

I use primer before concealer, but if you use primer then use concealer and it sets before it blends it can be difficult to fix without wiping it off with a wet towel. So it depends on your kind of concealer, this especially happened when using eye concealer. It may work well to use concealer first then dab primer over this to set it. In my opinion, concealer looks better when it is on the skin first, and it is easier to blend.

Depends on your skin type. If your skin is normal, you won't need moisturizer. I think it works best on my dry spots if I moisturizer at night and use the primer alone during the day.

you should probably also use a moisturizer. although this product does help to smooth skin, a good moisturizer is very important. a good one to try is the sephora brand moisturizer. its only about 20bucks and works like a charm.

If you have dry skin, moisturize before primer especially if your foundation is powder.

If you have normal skin, it's just matter of preference. But if you have normal skin with a bit of dry spots, definitely make sure to at least moisturize dry spots before primer.

If you have oily skin, no need to moisturize before primer. It will only make you more oily and make your make up slide off.

face primers help to even out skin tone, so it's a good thing to buy one even if you don't wear foundation. it makes skin look naturally even-toned, but it will not cover up all imperfections.

Yes you can but the outcome is so much better when you add foundation! Liquid or powder, I'm not a big fan of wearing liquid foundation so I wear a bit of powder and it leaves my skin looking nearly flawless!

Yes! even before i put on my foundation, i can tell a difference in my skin after i apply primer. It really does even out my skin tone. In fact, when im in a hurry and dont have time for makeup, sometimes i just put on some primer and go. Although, primers can be pricey, and since they arent completley necessary, it may seem like a waste of money. but in my opinion, they really do help and i highly reccomend you get one!

It does not have the nice smell of the MUFE primer. But, in terms of priming your skin, I've found that I like this texture better. I'd compare it to the Smashbox primer. You can even use it without foundation -- it gives your skin a nice smooth finish. And, it works great as an eye shadow primer too.

I have both used it with a moisturizer and without. I love my clinique moisturizer with my 3 step skin care and I think it compliments this primer.
But i would not say that moisturizer is needed unless you have dry skin. This primer kind of acts as a light moisturizer for me.

I totally recogmend before you buy any other expensive brands.

I haven't tried this and I know you are supposed to let it dry before adding make up but I don't see why you couldn't mix a loose powder with the primer as long as it was mixed thoroughly through out the primer so the color was distributed evenly.

I'm not a fan of the consistency of the Luminous one... I find it to be too liquidy. And it doesn't seem to absorb well. If you want something luminous maybe try out a luminous lotion and then put the regular Sephora primer over that. I think you'll be happier with the results.

I would get the clear. It goes on very smooth and evens out skin tone. The luminous primer I found was 'gritty' and didn't feel like it would work that well. Plus if you're covering the primer with foundation, you're not really going to get the luminous effect.

I also have acne-ridden, sensitive, blotchy skin. Being incredibly fair-skinned doesn't help. This is my favorite primer. It is very similar to Smashbox, but cheaper, and I actually feel like my skin is clearer and breaks out less when I use it regularly rather than sparingly. I even wear it when I'm not planning on wearing foundation, because it makes my skin less oily and appear more evenly toned. It doesn't clog my pores up and helps my makeup go on smoother, all while creating a silky protective layer between my face and my makeup. It also comes off easily when I wash my face.
