I have a lot of natural red in my lips, am looking for a POP! I love summer suntan, hate nudes that don't show. Open minded, tried Shiraz but it just kind of didn't show up.

I love this lipstick..I have yellow and red undertones...I am just lost on color selection.....HELP! Please!!

Tannin is my favorite red from here. It's a darkish red that wasn't too yellow or too blue. It even comes in the little sample kit with Cin Cin and a mini gloss so you can try it out before you commit.

I just recently purchased Tanin, and returned it b/c it was brighter than the picture appeared. But if you're looking for a pop of color, it would be perfect. It's a beautiful brighter red, it was just a little too bright for me. I have olive/yellow undertones too. I think you'd like it.

judging from your description i think you would like Zin! Its gives a gorgeous pop, but its not a red its like a pretty berry color. If you want more of an orange red pop, try apricot or zivoli. For a blueish red, try takin. I have sampled lots and these were the standouts as far as pop!

I wasn't able to find a good Bite neutral while in-store, but I did find--and buy--Korres Mango Butter Lipstick in Nude (33), and it gives just a hint of nude color without being too drastic while still being noticeable. It's also very creamy and moisturizing--I would suggest giving it a try!

I got my first tube in Pepper at the Sephora store in Burlington, MA it definitely in stores. Side note: Pepper is like a nude color with a hint of pink and boy does it pack a punch with how it goes on. Nude but yet, full coverage. All in a natural lipstick. It looks great on my brown complexion but the sales rep who convinced me about the Bite line (that the colors were intense for natural make-up) had on Pepper as well. She was really fair and it looked great on her as well.

i don't particularly notice anything, and I am also sensitive to that. Can't even tolerate color-testing L'Oreal products for that reason. The salesperson said she loved the taste - i don't notice a taste

Any recommendations for shades that flatter a medium-brown-skinned girl with yeIlow undertones? I find that warmer lipstick shades look better on me. I got Pepper which I love but it's a bit on the cool side - I'll keep it but would like to buy more (my local Sephora doesn't carry this line so I can't check it out in person)

I bought Pepper too and liked it ok but thought it was a little too cool & purple-y for me as well. I have a medium skin-tone also and I exchanged Pepper for Zin, which is brighter and fun if I blot alot. It was hard for me to find a color that didn't make me look like a clown but after trying on almost all of them I went with Zin-not totally satisfied but I like it ok. You may want to try their lip balm in Claret, I LOVE that stuff! Hope that helps!

Good Color Not Musk

I ordered Musk and it absolutely looks like clear gloss. don't know if I can return it for a different color but if I can , what is Cin cin like. I want something with a lot of color but not really bright and cartoonish color...Any suggestions. I am tanned and normally wear cool colors but could pull off warm in the summer.

Cin Cin is described as a bright coral but it's actually a little more muted than I expected when I tried it on. It definitely has yellow undertones, so if you usually wear cool colors than you might not like it. I have pale skin with pink undertones and found Cin Cin very flattering.

I think salut because the vouvray is reallly a bellet pink, while as salut is a nude almond. Also, in anotherreview someone said that vouvray was brighter than expected

I tried this color and have a very light skintone and it made me look like a corpse. It's way too close to my skin tone, very pale. I had to return it. Musk seems to be a similar shade, but a bit darker so it doesn't just blend in with the rest of your skin; I got that one instead.

Retsina is a difficult color, it will look different depending on the pigment in your lips and the undertone of your skin. You need to try it on before buying so that you won't end up with corpse lips like me (Retsina looks like a lovely warm rosy brown nude swatched on my arm, on my lips? grey pink!).

No, go for Cava, which is a lovely mauve. I have Retsina and yes it's a nude, but it has an orange undertone that won't work best with your cool complexion. Gray hair + blue eyes = cool colors for your lips! Or a classic red, which always works.
