I have never smelled the lemon. I know the Satsuma (clementine) is rather powerful, however the shea and cocoa butter are nice, yet subtle. I enjoy these scents alone and they do not interfere with a stronger fragrance. Perhaps the citrus scents are just more robust?

You can definitely smell the "Cocoa-ness" of it. I would wait to put on purfume until it fades a little - usually an hour or two later. But it's a lovely smell, like the beach and definitely not as strong as the "Coconut" Body Butter.

It's a very light nutty smell. I often use it when my sinuses are irritable so smells don't bother me. It fades after a few minutes too, so it won't over power your perfume. I have the satsuma body butter too and that one is much stronger scented.

I sampled all the ones at the Sephora store, and have to say the Cocoa butter has the least scent - if almost no scent. Its kind of choco-nutty smelling in the container, but after you apply it it fades away pretty quickly. I don't find it clashes with perfume. I will say the others at Sephora that I sampled where definitely more strongly-scented, most of which gave me a headache (Shea, Olive, Satsuma, Mango).

answer 5
The scent isn't terribly strong. It doesn't overpower my perfume.

answer 6
In my opinion the best scent to pick up is the shea butter. The scent is lighter and not overpowering the others may overpower upon application but fades out after awhile.

answer 7
Yes it has a pretty strong cocoa butter scent. Try the Shea Body Butter instead, it's less strong.
