I only use the serum for face and neck on my upper lip and it has helped the little lines above your lip from getting deeper. It also makes them softer. Dont forget to use a lip liner, put above your upper lip and cover the lines. It works.

generally eye creams are not supposed to be used on the eyelid and if the eye cream is eyelid safe it will actually indicate it. this however is to be used around the eye area only. :)

This cream will replace both. It also will not give you the little bumps under your eyes that a lot of the other creams do because they are so rich. This is the perfect cream. You will love it!

The directions say to use the balm around the eye area twice a day. I've been using it in place of my usual eye creams (Guinot Longue Vie Yeux eye-lifting cream and a Vit. C complex for the dark circles). Sometimes I still use a bit of continuous hydration eye cream under my makeup, because my under-eye makeup is very drying (Bobbi Brown corrector, concealer & powder), but I'm using less and less of the makeup as the balm takes effect. I'm mostly just using foundation and powder at this point. When I'm not wearing the makeup my eyes feel great and I don't use anything else.

this eye cream will help with puffiness under the eye. most eye creams are intended to be used around the eyes and not on the eyelids. what you can do instead is if you have puffy eyelids put something cool on your lids like cold cucumbers or anything that cold from the fridge and leave it on for about 3-5 min. however please note that it will look puffier when you take the cool item off. however please note that you may look puffier than before when you first take it off but give it a couple minutes and the puffiness will go away suddenly! :)

No. Pat it gently under your eye, up to the insides of your eyes, which for me, tend to be a little dark, and to your lids. In other words, you kind of go around in a circle.

I recently learned that our eyelids are one of the least hydrated parts of our entire body. If your question is specific to Algenist eye cream, which I use, you don't have to use very much.

Try to always be really gentle; pat, don't rub or pull the skin around your eyes, and you will ALWAYS be beautiful!

Question
Which eye cream is best for dark circles, puffiness and fine lines....in that order?
I need to purchase an eye cream, had a sample of algenist and loved how it made the area under my eye fee. But also use Fresh soy products and can't decide which eye cream to go with. If I go with Fresh, which one should I choose? I am 56...if that makes a difference....but have been told I look much younger. Thanks.

Try this Algenist Eye Balm or Sunday Riley Start Over Active Eye Cream. The Sunday Riley's effects are immediate. You won't believe how your under-eye area looks after about 5 to 10 minutes. I barely need concealer after the Sunday Riley. The Algenist is more moisturizing. I saw results in about 3 days. The Sunday Riley is pricey but the bottle is HUGE.

I received a mini sample jar with a coupon for a deluxe sample and it has already lasted me over a month with more than half a jar to spare! The full size should approximately last you 2-3 months. Remember, use less than a grain of rice for both eyes!

How does this compare to Platine Peptide CR Eye Creme?
I received a sample of the Algenist Firming and Lifting Cream and absolutely love it. My dermatologist recommends the Viverskin Platine Peptide CR Eye Creme, so I'm wondering if anyone has tried it and can give me a comparison to the Algenist.

Question
Do I use this eye balm with firming & lifting eye gel?
I'm confused as how to use the Algenist eye creams. There are two. I bought the gel but is that enough? I'm in my 50's. Do I also have to apply the balm over the gel? Is the gel just a serum that also needs a moisturizer applied over it? I asked this question on the Algenist web site and they said to first apply the face firming & lifting moisturizer, then the eye gel. But is the face cream safe for the eye area? Help!

The Firming and Lifting eye gel was the first Algenist product that knocked me out, I use everything in the Firming and Lifting line. I only recently started using the balm, I consider it a cream and the gel a serum. I also love the face cream but don't use it around my eyes. I just got the SPF day cream and it feels like silk.
