It IS rich, but if you are willing to dab on the occasional zit-remover cream as well, it should be fine.

I have sensitive and acne prone skin and it works great for me. I've had now breakouts - plus my skin seems to be looking more radiant. I'm on a pretty tight budget so I use a little of this mixed with my day\night moisturizers and it still works great! I would say go get a sample if you can - that's the only way to know for sure.

I belive on their website I read that is a chemical and they gave the reason why they use that instead of a natural blocker. Check out their website. Lots of great info on it.

answer 3
the spf is a chemical sunblock. I checked out the official Algenist website at www.Algenist.com and under the FAQ listing they give the following information:

"The specific SPF ingredients in the Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF 20 are Avobenzone, Homosalate, and Octisalate which are chemical sunscreens. Algenist is formulated with chemical rather than physical sunscreens because physical sunscreens are known for imparting a “ghosting” or whitening effect on the skin while chemical sunscreens do not. In addition, physical sunscreens provide UVB sun protection but often fall short on full spectrum and UVA protection. At Algenist, it is essential to us that we provide both full spectrum UVB and UVA sun protection and therefore we choose to formulate with chemical sunscreens. "

My product is very white in color so if you are seeing something different I would return it to Sephora. They are great about taking back both used and unused products with full credit.

A cream is always thicker, richer, and heavier than a lotion. I would like to know if that is the only difference too so I will watch for more answers.

Good luck!
