Questions & Answers for Couture Colour Luxeblend™ Crème Hair Colour With Pequi Glossing Serum — Dark Golden Blonde

Question
how does this compare to Fekkai color
I have used Fredric Fekkai hair color in the past but not very many shades to choose from and always seem darker than the picture. Does this brand compare in quality and results? Are shades true to what you see, how red/golden is the dark golden blonde?

The Dark Golden Blonde has a slight strawberry undertone to it for warmth, which can be more or less pronounced depending on if your hair has red undertones.

LuxeBlend is different than other brands on the market. Traditional hair colour is made as single shades, like 4N or 6W, resulting in flat colour. LuxeBlend formulas are an edited collection of the top requested salon shades. The secret salon recipes behind those shades have been , custom blended and put into a box, for rich, multi-dimensional salon results. LuxeBlend is also different in that it is Ammonia-Free, has the option of Bottle or Brush-On application, and that it contains Pequi Glossing Serum, which gives you a hair treatment while you are colouring your hair.

Question
like to know if the color will go on my new growth aswell the already bleach color
Hi, I have recently bleached my hair.It went to a orange strawberry color and the demi color i bought didnt work at all but i put in something that is suppose to get rid of the red, gold and brass color to come out and it didn't work. Also do i need to rebleach my new growth and reddish orange color hair before apply this color where my new growth is.my color is a lighter of this but orange like i said above but naturally a dark brown/black color.I got long(middle of my back) hair thats very thick.Took 3 boxs this time to put in my hair(like i said didnt work was creme and came out liquied weird bc i have colored my hair before.).Would one box be enough to do my hair?Because i dont have a lot of money so I'm concern about the price and not knowing if its enough. This is the color i want to go thought i had to go red bc for some reason my hair is holding on to it. Been told red isnt suppose to stay but has been for me.
thanks for taking time to answer my question.

First, I doubt one box would be enough for your length and thickness. I have thick hair that falls just above my shoulders and it took almost the whole bottle! Second, if you don't want a a reddish tint, this is probably not the product for you. At least from my experience, my hair definitely has a reddish tint to it now after using the dark golden blonde color. I used it over my highlights and dark brown hair, and you can still see some of my highlights shinning through.

This product is very good for hair that has previously been colored, highlighted, or any other treatment that your hair has had. I used this product with old highlights and I had darker roots growing in. After I used this product it perfectly blended the highlighted area with my roots! It was well worth purchasing! Extremely high quality and mu hair looked more blended, and took the dark roots and highlights and blended perfectly!

Question
will this correct a hair color
I have medium brown hair with natural ash-blond highlights. I recently had my hair professionally highlighted with red -- I wanted a strawberry blond, but it pulled almost to a ketchup color. I want to tone it down, but don't want to go brown. Would this work to make it less.. well, vivid?

LuxeBlend Dark Golden Blonde is a very natural looking Dark Blonde shade that is very flattering on most skin tones. If you are looking for a redder shade, we would suggest our Strawberry Blonde, which is very natural looking. We recommend doing the strand test (instructions in the box) prior to colouring to make sure you are happy with the colour before doing all of your hair. You also could use our fabulous Salon Brush to paint on some lowlights if you are looking for a more subtle change.

I just used this color and it is the most red/orange result I have ever had...NOT in a good way, very dark brown with orange.copper tones. I have dark blonde/lt. brown with red, so I'm always looking for something to tone down the brassiness..this is not the one!

Question
NEED INFORMATION ON THIS PRODUCT
First of all I have never used this brand of hair color - I would like to know can anyone compare this brand to Frederic Fekkai hair color - pros/cons of either and which you liked better ? Also in Fekkai I have used 8W which I like, just wondering what would be compatible to that color in this line - would you say the one above - dark golden blonde ? I don't see a number near it (level of shade like a 5 is dark and 9 is light, do you know what this would be)? Thanks for any help you can provide on these questions. Thanks !

If you have dark colour on your hair, the answer is no. You need to go to a salon to have your colour professionally removed before going lighter. That is corrective colour.

If you have a similar or lighter colour on your hair, then you are in luck!

Question
How long does the color last?
I have naturally dark hair, but color it always medium to light brown. I would like to try something more gentle, but of course with staying power. Anybody with store brand hair color used this for comparison in staying power and how it attaches to already colored hair?

Question
How dose this color work on treated blonde hair with 2inch roots in mossy brown?
I have sholder length hair and my roots are about 2inches in the color of mossy brown which is my real color and I had light blonde and mossy brown highlights put in my hair 3 months ago. I was looking to get my hair less noticable with the roots so I want to dye it to a light brown. I was woundering if this color works good on processed blonde hair. I dont want it turning green or orange.

Question
getting the color right
like others I used FEkkai color and when medium golden brown was sold out, I was advised to mix light golden brown with dark golden brown to get medium. I now have an extra box of dark and wonder whether it is advisable to mix the brands -- that is Fekkai dark golden brown with LuxBlend dark golden blonde? thanks
