The packaging doesn't say so. But I am prone to a pimple here and there with most products I put on my face within 3 days. I've been using this sunscreen for 1 week and I have no pimples or blackheads.

The name implies it's a serum, but I think that mostly speaks to the consistency and absorbency of the product. It's a very lightweight lotion. Yes, it has antioxidants, but this is more like a lightly moisturizing sunscreen. That being said, I wouldn't wear it under any other moisturizer....I would wear it on top since it's sunscreen.

Hello! Yes you can certainly apply this before another moisturizer to ensure a foundation of super broad spectrum sun protection (UVA, UBA & IRA). In fact our Serum actually acts as an amazing primer to prep your skin for the rest of your routine.

Yes! This is the best way to wear it. I was actually recommended this product by a professional Bobbi Brown makeup artist- she uses this serum as her primer, and her skin was AMAZING. I've been using it for about a year daily- my skin has not gotten sunburned, and I never have to reapply. It helps to keep my makeup in place.

answer 4
Yes, its best to do it before applying the moisturizer because the serum absorbs much faster than the moisturizer.

Question
What step do I apply htis product?
I use a HA hydrating spray, serum, moisturizer. Where would I put this sunscreen in that system, before everything, after everything? My serum is quite expensive and I want to make sure nothing keep sit form penetrating.

Is it safe for the ocean or is these the active ingredients that can damage the coral reef?

Thanks!

I would use this only on your face, and apply it before you apply any other products. It absorbs pretty quickly, but make sure it is applied evenly as sometimes it can rub off. It doesn't have any smell, but when you put this on under your makeup it works well as a primer, and I feel like my face is actually protected from the sun (instead of an SPF 15 moisturizer)

I find this moisturizing, so I use my moisturizer at night. During the day, I use this last and sometimes apply my bareminerals matte on top to conceal any discoloration. I allow my complexion tonic and radiance serum to completely absorb before applying this.

I think it would be just fine. It does have a fairly thin consistency (not quite serum thin but closer to serum thin than lotion thick). So, I would only add a touch to make sure it isn't too gritty.

Question
Water proofiness
The directions suggest using "a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating," and as an excessive sweat-er and resident of a muggy city I'm wondering how seriously I need to take this warning. Does this product really not stand up to some sweat?

I've worn it at the gym and it doesn't sweat off in any noticeable way, but I don't know how effective it is after sweating. I usually re-apply after exercise to be safe.

Question
Did anyone have trouble with the pump?
I just bought this yesterday, and when I opened it up to use this morning, I was pumping for a while but no product came out. It doesn't look like there's something wrong with the mechanism. Do I need to twist the pump a certain way or is the one I got just a dud?
