Many people with my same problem- why does my hair slip out of the clamp??
I'm very new to curling my own hair- just never bothered to try it because i always wore my hair straight. Many folks have had the same problem with this iron- the sections of hair inserted in the clamp slip right out before I can twist and curl. Do I just need practice or is this the fault of the iron's design? I have straight, fine, somewhat thin hair.

The clamp is flimsy- the clamp on my iron actually broke within less than 2 months of use so I returned it. I tried to update my review to reflect this new info but once a review is submitted it doesn't allow any edits.
Thank you for the feedback on the clamp. We have improved it to function more effectively.

I just don't think it works well for fine hair. Mine kept slipping through. I ended up returning this.

My hair slides out too even though I have thick hair. I had my stylist look at it who agreed that it is not a great iron.
