I have acne but my acne is now under control thanks to Retinol cream and antibiotics. I have acne scars on my cheeks and decided to try this product...hoping that it would help "erase" them. To be honest, my skin broke out ALOT more once I started using it (2 months). Once I stopped, my skin went back to being under control.
The only thing that has worked for me to help "erase" my scars is jojoba oil. I buy mine at GNC for about $8. Put it on your skin at night after washing it and let it soak in. Leave it in.
Helped me alot!

Yes! I always had such bad acne, and I was nervous about dropping $20 on a cleanser that doesn't brag about it's "achievements." But you'll see why this brand doesn't post all the things it can do, and it most definitely works. I noticed a difference after the first wash, and everything cleared up over a few days. I used it 2-3 times a day (I have awful skin, and I work in a setting where I practically workout with my make up on) and it didn't over dry or hurt my skin. After you use it, you'll look in the mirror and see all the redness decrease-which made me so happy. Since it really cleans out your pores I'd suggest waiting about 20-30 minutes to apply ANY make up, you'll see that it makes a difference with future breakouts. I wish I had known that! Give it a shot, girl!

I've been using this fairly religiously for months, and I couldn't suggest it for your issues. To me, this cleanser is similar to Philosophy's Purity. I think they are both good cleansers, but they are not "speciality" cleansers in my mind.

The Active Soil complex in the product does address acne and scarring. There is also a plant in the product called the Resurrection plant from Africa which can help dimish the scarring. As an aesthetician, I say give the product a shot, especially if you want to go the more natural route!

I dont think this will work w/ your acne--I have few little pimples and it did not rid of it. What works well with me is I exfoliate 3x aweek w/ gentle any product and that lessens my pimples.

I don't think this will help minimize acne scars. I finally have my acne mostly under control and now use this as part of my routine. A clean face is necessary for controlling acne but you will probably still need to use a treatment on top of your cleanser. However, this is my new favorite cleanser for my sensitive skin!

Try DDF's Brightening Cleanser, it's a face wash made to lighten discolourations, and it will help prevent breakouts too: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P112600&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=3528
If you really want to get something from BE, go for the Exfoliating Cleanser, it's a powder that you add water to and create your own personalized exfoliation: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P112600&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=3528

Daily I only use this and it does cleanse well. However, I do use a scrub about twice a week to get some of the extra dead skin off since this is a very mild cleanser. Generally you should only have to use one cleanse per face cleaning of any decent brand,

Nope! When I first bought it at the BE store, they told me that it actually is your whole face cleaning routine in one. You don't need to use a toner or anything else after you wash your face (just moisturizer if needed - I don't need to with this cleanser most days!).

No! This product is really good, and non-drying. I don't particularly like "foamy" stuff, because to me, foamy=drying. If you are oily, maybe try the deep cleanser instead.
In the summer, I may try the deep cleanser myself, as It's really humid here, and I do play a lot of tennis. It takes more to get the sunscreen off, but for the winter months, I like this product.

Only a very small amount of cleanser comes out when you press the pump once, so I don't think this a product you will go through very fast. I only just bought my first bottle of it so I'm not sure yet exactly how long it lasts, but I don't think I will run out of it fast. Plus, the bottle contains 177 ml of cleanser, which I think is more than some drug store brands contain. Also, you really only need the amount that comes out after one pump. You don't have to use a lot of this product, its one of the things I love about it!

I have not found any products more effective at removing waterproof mascara as the Almay oil-free makeup remover pads. I use the bareMinerals Purifying Facial Cleanser first to remove the rest of my makeup and spend a little time gently scrubbing my lashes with my fingertips, but follow it with the makeup remover pads. The other thing I do is alternate the waterproof mascara with regular mascara on different days to keep my eyes more comfortable.

Purifying is a makeup remover/cleanser made for use on the eyes too. It will leave the skin comfortably smooth and soft.
Deep is a really thorough, richly lathering deep cleanse. It leaves the skin super 'squeaky' clean.

Purifying seems to be for every skin type, AM/PM. Deep is made for congested or oily skin, AM mostly. (b/c they say not to use it on the eyes-- I found it stung if I tried)

The deep cleanser is a foam whereas this one is more silky liquidy. I think this one is meant to use everyday and the deep cleaning one is for when you really have to get the gunk out. My skin feels a little more dry and tighter when I use the deep clean. I use this one to take my makeup off because the lady at the store told me the deep clean is not to be used near the eyes but this one is good for eye makeup.

I have used it to remove my makeup several times (with and without using makeup wipe first), works well for me without having to wash like 2 or 3 times, and I only use white towels and the only place I have ever seen makeup on my town was in places I didn't clean properly, so that's saying a lot. And the makeup I'm using is full coverage. This stuff is amazing!!!! Hope this helps :)

Question
Comparison to BM Deep Cleansing Foam?
Has anyone tried both the BM Deep Cleansing Foam as well as the BM Purifying Facial Cleanser? If so, what's your comparison between the two and which would you recommend?

I am looking to try one of the cleansers. I currently use the Aveeno Skin Brightening soy face wash (comparable to Fresh Soy facewash) but like to switch and try out different cleansers. I have normal yet somewhat sensitive skin. Now that it's winter, my skin errs on the dry side. Occasional acne due to stress. Also use retinol and antioxidant night cream; vitamin C serum and BE makeup for daytime.
