Why does it say this is permanently out of stock?

I saw this on my very first online Sephora shopping "trip" and immediately thought "I HAVE to try this!" I put it in my basket and continued browsing, and when I went to check out, it went out of stock! I was so disappointed. Then, today, I saw that it was on sale for $5 so of course I had to try again. Once again it went out of stock while I was browsing, but shortly after went back in stock. I immediately checked out and am so excited to receive this. I am worried though that if I end up loving this, I won't be able to repurchase it! I just want to know, why are you taking it off the shelves for good?
