Is there a way to get samples of this?

My skin is extremely fair, and I have a very hard time finding the right shade of liquid foundation. I love the Sephora line make up, I use the eyeshadow and lipsticks all the time and I am looking into foundation but I do not want to purchase it and have it end up being the wrong colour.

i always get samples of things from sephora. have never tried getting a sample of a foundation, but i have for concealers, skin care items, primers, etc. i'm sure they'd be able to give you a sample of this too. and if it helps, i've heard from a sales associate you can get a sample of anything in liquid/cream/etc form. so anything like an eyeliner pencil or lipstick you couldn't get a sample for.

This foundation is a bit moisturizing. I have combinatin skin but my skin stays hydrated all day when using this. By the end of the day, my cheekbones, nose and chin will be slightly oily. I would think this foundation is better for dry or combinatin type skin.

YSL teint resist. The best I have found (I pretty much tried any that comes out and this is excellent) , does'nt feel heavy. Stays put and havent had it to rub off in over year.

I haven't tried this foundation, but for something long-wearing, I highly recommend Korres Wild Rose foundation. It has SPF 20 and excellent coverage.

What shade do I need? I use Bare Minerals in Light & fairly light. I need more coverage & would like to try this.

I wear Nude in Revlon color stay, light & fairly light in Bare minerals. I need something to cover better but won't draw attention to the fine lines I am starting to get. I have trouble getting makeup to stay on so I use a primer...is there one that works best with this product?

I use the medium beige and light in BE and I bought the med 25 (which had yellow undertones) and it was too dark. I think you should get the light 05 or light 10 depending on your skin tones.

Hi. I would suggest Lancome Teint Idole Fresh. It feels and looks like skin and is light-moderate coverage. It also lasts all day. The only downfall is it is 32 bucks and only .8 fl ounces. However, you only need a small amount of it to cover your face so it does last long. It is similar to Bobbi Brown Skin foundation but cheaper and it lasts longer than that one.

always go pink and not yellow! pink can be blended to look less blush toned with powder in a light shade.

Is this foundation really full coverage? Will it cover acne scarring?

I was thinking of buying MUFE's Mat Velvet Foundation because of the great coverage and my oily T-zone, but someone told me that the coverage on this one is identical. I was wondering if you think it is enough to cover acne scarring and if the coverage is really good. I also want to ask if any of you have an oily t-zone, and if this makes it worse or not. Thanks.

I have an oily T Zone and haven't had any issues with this foundation on that. It covers well and is buildable, so you can have heavier coverage where you need it and lighter where you don't. What I don't like about it is that it makes my skin look VERY dull. Matches my color but I hate the finish. I'm trying the MUFE when I run out of this.

What is the best makeup for mature skin?

first of all i would make you rule out rosacea as the cause of your acne like patches. for full coverage this foundation or the almost exact kind made by make up for ever would be a good fit for you. this product has a buildable coverage and doesnt feel or look heavy. this works even better when used with the sephora full coverage concealer or perhaps the brand dermablend which excellent concealers that go a long way.
