The smell is the best feature of this shampoo. It is light fresh/floral that smells great when you're in the shower but the scent doesn't stay on your hair very long.

I have the same issue, I don't think this one helped but I thought Gentle Shampoo is good with volume. I also like Bed Head conditioners, makes hairs fall less and Giovanni 50:50 shampoo and conditioner, kept shed to a minimum and it made my hair look great.

I wouldn't recommend this shampoo if your hair is falling out. It doesn't actually add any thickness--it just doesn't weigh down hair so hair appears a bit thicker (for some, I got no noticeable results). Also, if you read through some of the reviews, one woman says that it actually made her hair extremely tangled so that she had to cut out bits and pieces. I figure you may not want to take that chance. Plus, sometimes, one review when it is scary enough, is enough to turn me far, far away.

No but you should def check out the Bumble & Bumble serum. It's amazing and will help to re-grow hair. Also Alterna makes a great scalp serum (Green bottle) and it will help also if your consistent w/ using it.

This shampoo will not help restore your hair, but it will make it seem like it is. My hair is already pretty thick, but it felt like I grew more hair in the shower. Also, it makes it appear as if you have more hair also, because of the fullness it gives.

My hair is also very thin and this shampoo was terrible...doesn't thicken, just makes it dry, wispy, and flyaway. I'm having trouble finding a good shampoo too, but for styling the best is Redken Bodyfull instant bodifier.

I doubt this product would help with hair loss; any unusual hair loss could be related to an illness or shock to your body. You should see a doctor before doing anything else.

Question
What is the best shampoo that you would recommend that gives the most body?
Hi, I have thin hair that you would never guess that it was thin because I keep it as full as possible. However I would like it to feel thicker and be healthier with less split ends. What product or products would you recommend? I have brilliant blonde hair that is soft but thin. I have a small problem with dryness at the ends. My hair looks very full, but I find it hard to style because it is so thin. What product or brand should I use? Thanks Luv

The BB Thickening Shampoo is a little drying so might not be good for your split ends (You could add the thickening conditioner and leave it on the ends of your hair longer.) It really does make your hair fuller though.

Hey! I would say to give this Bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo a try. I have baby fine and thin hair as well and this stuff helped with volume for me. And for the dry hair, maybe try the Healthy Sexy Hair Argon Oil. This stuff smell so, so, good and it helps with split ends! I use it after every shower on damp hair mostly pulling it through the ends. It won't weigh your hair down either, give it a try.

I highly recommend Living Proof "Full" shampoo and conditioner. Leaves hair soft, hydrated, and while it doesn't perform miracles, my hair does look thicker when I use it. The Full products I've used are all great.

I have found that other thickening shampoo systems dry out your hair to create fullness. Bumble & bumble thickening shampoo balances the two by adding fullness but keeping hair manageable. Be sure to use the conditioner, hairspray, and serum as well for the full effect.

Would buying the shampoo without the Thickening Conditioner still do the trick?
I tried a sample of both the Thickening Shampoo & Thickening Conditioner. I liked the volume I had but I was wondering if just buying the shampoo would still give good results.

In my opinion, if you have fine hair and need the volume then spend the extra money on the conditioner. It lasts much longer than the shampoo and is well worth the money. I tried to use just the shampoo with another conditioner and it just did not work for me. The beauty of this conditioner is that it is very light and does not weigh down the hair, thus promoting the desired result of full hair.

I have an oily scalp and find that this shampoo seems to really help with the oil. I've gone from having to wash every day to every other day (in part due to the fact I found an excellent dry shampoo) but when I do wash I use just a tiny amount (like the size of a dime). This paired with the thickening conditioner makes my hair more voluminous and tends to counteract the "flattening" effects of my oily scalp.
