Holding vs. Extra Holding?

Hi, can anyone compare/contrast this with the holding spray? Which do you prefer? Is this more "hairspray-like" for updo's or is it good for volume boosting, too?

I have really fine hair and it gives me great volume! It is not sticky at all! You can use it as a hairspray and a volume spray. I really love it! It is so much better than a normal hairspray!

You can use it for volume and boosting if you're very fast after spraying. Otherwise it'll just hold whatever you started with...allllllllllll day!
I fooled around with it when I first got it to see what it could do and usually spray the top where I want lift and quickly use a styling pick to lift hair, then I spray the rest and lift from underneath with my fingers. It holds fast and really stays. You don't need to heavily spray at all!

Does this company test products on animals?

I prefer to buy products from companies that don't test on animals. Sephora is good at showing which products are cruelty-free, but I can't find that information on this one.
