It is gentle and will clarify hair. It is not ideal for people with color treated hair.

I color my hair and use this. I don't notice a difference but it may fade your hair a little, especially if it is red. I only use it once a week or less. It does say not for colored hair though.

It did not strip mine but I cannot vouch for all hair color. This was really gentle on my hair unlike some other detox shampoos I have tried. I do believe the product description said that it was not for color-treated hair so I plan to use it no more than once per week.

answer 6
Regular use will, but as a once a week detoxifyig shampoo, no. It contains gentle cleansing agents that are color safe, despite what the bottle says. The only difference is that it has no conditioning components, as that would defeat the purpose of a clarifying shampoo.

Question
Sunday vs. Other Clarifying Shampoos
I'm just wondering if anyone has noticed a significant difference between this and drugstore "clarifying" shampoos? Thanks!

There is no comparison. Never use drug store products on your hair.

Yes, huge difference! I was hesitant at first because of the price on this tiny bottle, but the results are excellent! I have tried every clarifying shampoo at the drugstore (Clear, Aussie, Sheer Blonde, etc...) and none of them came close to this. My hair and scalp feel cleaner. I love the product, just not the price!

absolutely. this one actually cleans LOL...garnier clarifying actually weighed my hair down and made it oily and gross.

In comparison to the clarifying shampoos sold in drugstores, this shampoo feels a lot more lightweight when massaging onto your scalp. And after a few washes with this, it doesn't make your hair feel heavy either.

Absolutly! It is soooo much more detoxifying than ANY drugstore brand. It doesnt dry your hair out either!

It's great for removing chlorine and build up. I have used it on many vacations. However using it daily while swimming may be drying and fade color.

answer 2
I would say probably not. This shampoo is great for removing product buildup but it does have a tendency to dry out your hair a bit if not followed up by an intense moisturizing condition or masque. Since chlorine is already quite drying, I would suggest using a chlorine specific shampoo and conditioner.

Unless you also had a lot of product in your hair before getting in the pool, you would want to stay with a gentle, conditioning shampoo. Bb Genlte or Creme de Cocoa are good choices

Question
Color Treated Hair
I just got this for Christmas, and I'm super excited to use it, but I have died my hair from Brown to Blonde, and now I'm scared to use it! I read in the comments that other people have used it that have color treated hair and it worked fine for them. Any advice?
