I actually use this on DRY hair - before my shower. Like a deep conditioning mask before I wash my hair. I have fine, thin hair - so this method works for me.

You can use this on wet or dry hair, but it works better if your hair is wet. You should use it right after you shampoo your hair for the best results. :)

I assume you can use it on color-treated hair because the label says you can (under the "What else you need to know" section in the product description), but I don't know from experience.

I used this product on my hair the day after I had it heavily highlighted. Prior to this highlighting my hair had never felt dry before, but after it was very dry. It worked fantastically on my color treated and dry hair.

You can leave it in for longer than the 7 minutes that it suggests, but, obviously, you still have to wash it out. Also, if you get impatient (like I always do. lol) and you don't want to leave it in for that long, I've washed it out after about 4-5 minutes and it still works great. Hope this helps. :)

I left the product in for closer to 10min. It wasn't much longer than the suggest time, but my hair ended up looking and feeling fantastic. I don't believe it would be a bad thing to leave it in longer than suggested.

The sample says to leave on 7 minutes "or longer", so yes you can. I would recommend straight coconut oil before this product, however.

I have fine hair, and after being heavily highlighted it was extremely dry. I applied the product from root to tip and left it on for between 7 and 10min. I used a sample, so the instructions were not extremely clear, but this morning my hair looks and feels the way that it did prior to getting it highlighted yesterday.

my hair is a little heat damaged from recent flat ironing, but ive decided to give it a rest in the hopes taht my hair will grow out. my hair isnt as moisturized as it used 2 be, so it isnt as soft and shiny. which one of these should i use? thanks in advance!

I haven't tried the quenching masque, but for your hair type (which is exactly like mine), I can really recommend Bumble & Bumbles' mending masque. It is quite a strong treatment, so I just apply it the ends of my hair once a week, and I've seen great results. I talked to the lady in the bumble and bumble counter (where I told her my dissapointment with the creme de coco masque) and she told me that creme de coco, is for relatively healthy hair. If you want a repair masque for hair damaged by curling irons, ect. then go for the mending masque, but if you're looking for a hydrating masque, you should pick the bumble and bumble deep masque.
