Best Curl Regimen ?
There are so many curl regimen products on the market that it is quite overwhelming. I know that B&B has fabulous products -- the salon I used to go to carried them and used them on clientele and I really liked them. I am stoked that Sephora is now carrying this line. Yay!
About this "Curl Conscious" product line of B&B... there are quite a few hair treatments that I am confused about what is what -- and what I need. I have thick, medium to coarse hair that is color treated. It is a little longer than shoulder length. It is in good condition, but I am not satisfied with my waves/curls. It is naturally wavy, but I have to use products to enhance the curls.
Which of the styling products should I use in addition to the shampoo and conditioner? There is the Defining Creme, the Calming Creme, and Holding Foam. I wouldn't think I needed all three in addition to the shampoo and conditioner. Oh... there is also the revitalizing mist... but I understand the purpose for this.
One last question... to achieve the best curls is it necessary to use a diffuser or is it possible by letting my hair air dry? I hate blow drying my hair. With it being so thick and somewhat long -- it takes forever to blow dry and it just seems like a waste of time.
Thanks for you input. :)

on Curl Conscious Smoothing Shampoo
Defining creme, shampoo, conditioner.
Twirl your curs while it is wet, dry with diffuser.
I have thick, wavy hair (currently about shoulder length). I use the shampoo, conditioner and foam. I tried the spray, but it didn't do anything for me. Anyway, With those three - it definitely reduces my frizz/poof and makes my waves more like loose curls. My hair is very prone to frizz. I let it air dry and it does get a little frizzy, but I wash my hair at night so I sleep on it and it looks perfect in the morning. I think if I let it air dry and just ran my hand through it a little that it would probably look okay that way too. I hope this helps!

I think my hair might be similair to your and I use the Defining Creme (my stylist suggested it) and I do use the shampoo and conditioner as well but if you were looking for just one product I would go with the Creme. I do think you get better results with a diffuser and I don't hardly use it every day but when I do I just use it to get my hair to a slighty damp state (about 5-7 min) and that seems to help. Hope this is helpful!

For enhancing the curls I would recommend the foam as it is more of a styling product. I own the shampoo, conditioner, the definer and the mist and I really enjoy them but for actual prepping of my hair but i do have to use a styling product for really enhancing my curls such as a hair foam, hairspray. The products from the line that I own help but you need a styling product if you really want to make your waves into curls. Hope this helps!
