To a degree, yes. The only thing that "mends" hair for real is a haircut and starting over with new, undamaged hair. Split ends and seriously color or heat damaged hair can't really be repaired, but it CAN be improved to the point that it looks and feels much more like healthy, undamaged hair. This shampoo and conditioner does a great job of coating and filling in porous areas in the hair shaft without stripping color or moisture from hair or causing it to be weighed down or greasy looking. For best results, I'd recommend using it every other shampoo if you have only mildly damaged or dry hair. Truly damaged can tolerate this every shampoo without risk of build up.

absolutely. I worked at a camp this summer where I swam in harsh chlorine every day so you can imagine how dry my hair got. My hairdresser commented that she might have to cut my hair if I didnt start taking care of it. I found this and it is amazing. I allows for volume and tons of shine and leaves my hair feeling so good. I usually couldnt blow dry it and leave it because my hair was too dry and frizzy but now I can without it being oily. I also got several compliments on how shiny my hair looked after a couple of weeks using it. AMAZING
This shampoo along with the conditioner will drastically improve your hair! It really works and this line is one of the only lines of damage products that keeps working. Every time I stop using this my hair is not the same. It will make your hair shiny and not fried out!

In all honesty try L'oreal Evercreme Cleansing Conditioner. I have the same type of hair and I really notice a difference with this - and I notice a lot less hair in the tub after I shower - which is great would rather have the hair on my head than in the drain!
