All of the shades are matte, except for Blushing Bride, which has a little golden shimmer (NOT "glitter" as others have posted---glitter is chunky, this is not glitter). There are two limited edition shades that were part of sets (Adored and Glisten) which have shimmer as well.

Most of the shades have a matte finish. However, Blushing Bride has plenty of glitter! Also, two shades included in Tarte's value kits (Glisten and Adored) are glittery. The formulation in the matte finished are nice, though, and don't look flat on the skin.

I think it might depend on the color? I also only like matte blush, and dollface seems to be matte. If there is any shimmer in this, it is so minimal that I can't tell. Hope this helps!

OK, I took mine back to the guy at Sephora, and I said everyone is saying this has a matte finish on the website, and that I'm saying it has glitter in it. and he said "They're matte" I told him to open it up and take a look, and he was surprised and said that yes, it has glitter in it, at least this particular color (Blushing Bride) Of course he could have looked at the others but he was too busy doing nothing and giving off an air of being rude so.....

Hello! I have fair skin with bluish undertones, and I wear Amused. If you use a little at a time and blend well it looks so pretty! When I purchased this product, only 2 shades stood out; Amused and Tipsy. Everything else was too light or too dark. Tipsy would be my second choice if you wanted to add a subtle warmth to cool skin.

I also have fair skin with cool undertones. The "cool" ones from lightest to darkest are dollface, amused, flush, and blushing bride. They can all work for your skin, you just need to have a light hand with flush or blushing bride. I have flush myself and love it. It depends what look you are going for. Dollface and blushing bride are more muted, while amused and flush are brighter. The most natural, subtle color would be dollface, but they are all flattering.

I would say Dollface or Blissful. Just bought blissful and it is perfect for fair skin tones that want a peachy glow. Dollface would give the perfect pink cheek though. Hope that helps!

Which of these colors is the best duplicate for Bobbi Brown's pale pink? I love that blush color but it fades within an hour or two. For reference, I'm a neutral pale (NW 20) with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, and I usually use "pale pink" as a "pop" of color on the apples of my cheeks.

everyone is saying dollface, but i dont think they know what BB's pale pink is like. dollface is an actual pale pink, whereas BB's is actually a brighter pop of pink. that being said, AMUSED is the colour that is most like BB's pale pink, not dollface.

My guess is Dollface. I'm not familiar with BB Pale Pink, but Dollface is the lighter/baby pinkish of the 2 pinks (Amused is closer to a bright or hot pink).

Dollface or adored, which came in a kit. Adored has some glitter in it, little bit. Notice it in the compact, but not on the face. Dollface is a color that you will love if you are looking for a pink for fair to light, even medium, skin tones.

I don't have all the colors in front of me, but the light pink in this brand would be nice. i have the strawberry and peachy colors. They last ALL day. Use a light hand and wait before adding more as the color develops in a few minutes. I have added nmore, thinking it didn't show and then WOW...too much You can actually see the colors in persn on YouTube - Tarte Blush! I did and it helped me decide.

I've never seen the Bobbi Brown blush you mentioned in person- but on this site, it looks a little more subdued. If it's that natural, more muted color you are looking for, maybe Dollface (or even Exposed if your coloring can handle it) But If a "pop" is truly what you want, I'd try Amused; however these aren't cream blushes like the BB's, they're super pigmented, long-lasting clay powders- so use a very, very light touch. Better to build up than to have to wash it off and start over! Good luck- I hope you love them!

I don't know how Id feel about flushed on you. I like flushed for dark skin. Blushing bride would be nice on you. I also like blissful or tipsy for you. Glisten is nice on everyone Ive seen it on. Peaceful would be nice for you too.

Sounds like we have the same skin tones. I have olive/tan skin and I am using Tarte in Tipsy which I really love. I'd say if you like more of a natural or peach look as opposed to a rosy pink cheek then this one would be great for you. I use bronzer as well and the combo looks awesome together. Good luck!

Flushed is a lovely raspberry/rosy shade that looks really natural, I'd go with that! The blushing bride is kind of purple-ish, not for everyday if you prefer a more natural look.

I'm asian and we have similar skintones. I would say go with Blissful because its a peach with slight pink but Tipsy is orange. I use Dollface and Exposed, these shades are great on my yellow undertones so you should try those too if you're interested in a brighter pink or nude rose.

I have very fair skin with lots of red undertones and I really like Amused and Dollface. I originally tried Dollface in the store and wanted to purchase it but they had run out so I purchased Amused in it's place. In some ways I like that one even better even though it's bright. It blends nice. Both colors work with your skin tone :) They're the only two colors I use and I choose them over peachy tones. I generally only wear peachy tones if I'm wearing a peach or pink/peach shirt.

I have fair skin with pink undertones and my favorite shade is Dollface. It's a very subtle light pink and looks natural on my skin. I can also pull of Blissful though, which is a warmer peach shade. It looks best on me when I have a bit of a tan but I still use it in the winter too. My other favorite is Exposed. It looks blah in the pan, but once you put it on it becomes a lovely neutral rose-nude. It can also double as a bronzer and an eyeshadow!

I disagree with the previous comment. Although I have nothing against peach blush, I find that pink works lovely on fair skins with cool (pink) undertones. I'm very fair, (naturally) blonde, with blue eyes and I'm obsessed with this blush in 'Amused'. It adds a bright, complexion brightening pop of color. Because I'm fair and my hair is light blonde, I can look washed out without blush. I find that peaches don't work well on me unless I have a little tan, but Amused looks good on me with or without a tan. Swipe some on your cheeks while you're at the mall and see how you like it.

if you have fair skin and pink undertones, i recommend using a peachy blush! using too pink a blush will bring out redness while a peach blush has some yellow undertones and will keep the redness away! i have fair skin and pink undertones and thats what works for me :)

I like tipsy. It's a very pretty coral color. I have a med-dark brown skintone. It is highly pigmented, so I only have to use a small amount. I think that the color you like best will depend on your skintone and what kind of look you are trying to achieve.

I love Tipsy! It's not as overwhelmingly bright as you might initially think. I have light skin with beige undertones, dark brown eyes, and nearly black hair and Tipsy looks phenomenal. Summer is all about wearing bright colors so I would go with the Tipsy. It has a peachy color with a hint of shimmer so you dont need to use any bronzer. I have this color and my skin is medium, I have brown hair and brown eyes. I love it! I usually layer the color on my cheeks, use a shimmer brown eye liner and a nude lip gloss and I am ready for the day. For a work day I would suggest not layering on the color so that way you get the flushed look with a hint shimmer glow.
