answer 1
The two products are definently similar; however, i find the concentrate or step 2 to be very valuable. It's reccommended you follow up with a treatment after doing a mask and the Dr. Brandt has that built in already. This one is great for preventative against enviromental aggressors that could ravage skin a little more so than the Bliss; which is great for infusing oxygen into the skin (same as the Dr. Brandt). My advice, give it a try! If you are unhappy with the product and feel like you like the Bliss one better, just exchange it.

I too had a difficult time justifying the high price of this item. I received it as a sample and used it. I wouldn't have tried it otherwise. It does illuminate your skin quite well and I had no irritation with it. Since I only use it about once a week, It lasts long. It's also quite gentle. In short, it does what it claims to do. I hope this helps.

Brandt's is a thicker and foamy-er cream than Bliss, but I can't really say that one is superior to another. They both refresh the skin and seem to give a temporary glow.
