Question

The directions simply say "apply to dry hair." Does this mean I can use it over whatever other products may be on my hair?

It's not clear whether my hair needs to be clean before applying this. If so, that would mean washing it at night as well as in the morning--which seems a bit counterproductive.

I have used it after an event, and my hair was loaded with styling products & hairspary. I just used a few extra pumps more than normal, applied to my dirty hair and off to bed, wake up, wash, style & go!

I have used this product and it i put it on at night over all my other products I use. If you wash your hair at night and then again in the morning you are causing damage to your hair. You can just brush your hair right before you put it in and you are good to go.

I wondered the same thing. I put it on at night without washing my hair and in the morning had softened hair. I then washed my hair in the morning as normal. (a hairdresser I know really likes this whole line). It was nice. I liked it a lot, but it is pricey and I found I had to use a fair amount of product. My hair is just past my shoulders. Made me feel like I would go through the bottle quite quickly. But I do like the product, just not the price.

I have used this product before bed, 3 pumps for my shoulder length hair. I apply this on top of any shampoo, conditioner, styling products I have used that day. I concentrate on the ends of my hair to mid-shaft. I hope this helps you. I love this product as it works miracles for me.

I have this product at least 3 times since I purchased it and have always used it on dry hair that had a couple if products in it ( styling gel, smoothing serum and a light spritz of hair spray). It delivered great results every time!

Unless you have tons of crunchy gel you can just apply it over styling products. When in doubt, just brush styling products out.

I used it ontop of product sometimes, and it didn't make my hair too greasy. I'm not sure if it makes a difference on how well it works if there is other product underneath, though.

Is it gluten free?

I love some of the Alterna caviar antiaging shampoo & conditioner are gluten free. Are these other products? I have celiac. so it is very important to know.Thanks for your help.
