Plastic. It's very thick though, it was kind of hard to tell. But I'm glad it's plastic, because I throw it in my bag. I'd HATE if it broke and got lip gloss on everything.

It's very teeny, .22 ounces.
But you need a very, very small amount to HEAVILY coat your lips, so don't worry about running out anytime soon.

No, Rosebud salve rocks, I do however love the colors of the HK balm. It's a tad stickier but it's good stuff and the colors are great

From using these products, I find that Rosebud Salve is better at moisturizing your lips, but adds basically no color tint, whereas the Apple Balm isn't as hydrating, but adds a really nice color. It depends on what you want in a lip balm. Also, as for texture, the Rosebud is more waxy and the Apple Balm is more glossy.

I bought one of these a while back, and I'm sad to say that I hardly ever use it now. The formula is too waxy, and it feels thick and waxy on my lips. Plus, it doesn't do a good job moisturizing my dry lips. The packaging is cute, but I just don't think it's worth it. I stick with the Rosebud balm for freezing temperatures or lip preparation...hope this helps!

Apple Balm vs. Sweet Gloss in Apple
Really loved the Apple Balm however I am put of with having to unscrew the lid and stick my fingers to apply. Is the Sweet Gloss in the tube in the colour Apple good substitute?Or are they different colours all together? I'm dark skinned and the Apple Balm looks great on me, haven't tried the gloss though.

The apple color is the same as the apple balm. I have both however because I find the balm more moisturizing but I use the Gloss a lot more for daytime use :) Hope this helps!

No. I've been using it for forever and it just hydrates and colors my lips. there's no decrease in elasticity or fullness of lips.

Is cherry blossom that much different than apple?
I got this lip balm in apple back when that was the only color. Now I see there is a cherry blossom color, but the swatch looks like it's pretty much the same lightish shade of red. Is there that much of a difference between the two?

They are the same thing. All that was done is that they changed the name because it is a Cherry blossom color when put on the lips probably. When you buy it it will say Cherry Blossom and Apple on it because the smell is apple. :) Hope this helps clear things up!
