answer 1
This nail polish (I have it in Purple Sprinkles) chips VERY easily. I have a 2 year old sister, and I don't think it would be appropriate for a very young child.

No, I wouldn't think so. They make nail polish for kids that doesn't have scary chemicals in it.

answer 4
I think this polish is very appropriate. The girls i babysit about 1-2 years old like a nice coat of glitter on their nails with moms permission of course. Just make sure to remind them not to put their fingers in their mouth.

I agree, I'm not sure nail polish is appropriate for an infant. What are people's opinion on giving this polish as a gift to a 4-year old? Thank you.

I'm really not sure, but, I think any brand of nail polish you buy will be almost the same formula. If I were you and about to paint a baby's nails, I would use a none glitter nail lacquer because babies tend to stick their hands and fingers in their mouths and if the nail lacquer is already chipping off then maybe that can be harmful for her delicate stomach if she swallows any of it.

I'd say no, young children can bite off polish and this small bottle certainly can be a choking hazard. It's your own opinion on whether or not it's okay for young children to inhale nail polish and remover fumes.

It is a really sheer pretty pink with teeny flecks of glitter, if I had to compare it to fabric it is like a soft pink tulle it looks nothing like the picture online
Sorry I don't have a pic for you!

I am extremely cautious with my daughters. I have one that always had her hands in her mouth at that age, and the other that never put her fingers (or anything else, for that matter) into her mouth. If your daughter chews on her fingers or sucks her thumb, I don't think anything should go on her nails. That being said, both my daughters sucked their thumb, and I would paint 9 nails and leave the "thumb-sucker" out of the color. Good luck.
