If you are allergic to most facial creams than this isnt for you. I love this moisturizer BUT i dont have sensitive skin. This cream has fragrance and if you are sensitive should try something fragrance free. I recommend the Cetaphyl brand. Its sold in drug stores and is formulated for people with very sensitive skin. I dont use Cetaphyl because I dont need it but its excellent for people with your type of skin. Good luck! and avoid fragrance in your skin care, thats probably whats irritating you in the first place!

I have used Sephora Instant Moisturizer for several months without any problems. In fact, I developed a dry spot from a different moisturizer with retinol and that cleared up right away. I too have extremely sensitive skin and get aong well with the product. That said, if you are having tremendous problems, do seem a dermatologist. She may be able to help a great deal. Print out the ingredients list and take it with you.

Some people are sensitive to Benzyl Salicylate. I've tried this and haven't had any problems. Also try Clinique, their lotions are made for people with allergies.

This is a great product, but may be a little heavy for you. In all honestly, if your skin is very sensitive I would check out the Clarins site here. Their products are so pure, so organic, you could probably use them on a baby. My husband has completely stolen my post-cleanser Soothing Face Tonic and is using it as an after-shave. He straight-up told me that I'd have to buy a new bottle for myself! Clarins products really work, too. But you have to use them faithfully and give them a few weeks to really start seeing results. You could always go to a Clarins Counter, get a consultation, find the products that will work safely for the results you want; then come back and order them via Sephora! Sneaky, I know. But a girl's gotta' do what a girl's gotta' do! Good Luck!

So far, I've been using the Instant Moisturizer for a couple weeks and have had NO adverse skin reactions. My skin is sensitive to most products on the market. This product is great at hydration and is very affordable. Sephora's web site states it is a non-comedogenic product, which seems right to me after using this product often. (Clarins makes great products for sensitive skin also - the first products I tried about 10 years ago that did not make me breakout or irritate my skin.) Good luck!

You can get a sample in store, if you ask an associate. Though I really wouldn't try this if I were you, it's got a ton of stuff in in that irritate my skin, and mine's not even that sensitive. I think this, and nivea, are probably on the same level of like quality or whatever where the ingredients are super cheap and icky for your skin in the long run. And they actually have quite a few ingredients in common! Like alcohol, phenoxyethanol, carbomer, etc. Hope that helps a little lol =)

I'm not aware of being allergic to any creams, maybe slightly sensitive to heavier stuff, but the sephora instant moisturizer irritated my skin. It became itchy and dry after about two hours of wearing it, even though it felt nice and lightweight when i first put it on. So...not sure if it would work for you. I would get a sample first.
