Nope! They don't leave an oily residue or anything like that. I personally use them to take off my makeup before washing my face, but on nights when I'm feeling lazy I skip lathering up and just use these before going to bed.

How gentle on the skin?
I have Fibromyalgia, and sometimes find anything touching my skin too painful. How gentle are these on the skin, really? Thanks!

sorry - head over to Body Shop and get the chamomile makeup remover and the round face pads. You'll be MUCH better off. This one is soft and pretty gentle but I wouldn't recommend it for super sensitive skin.

These are super gentle. But, if pressure is painful, these might not be the best. You do have to rub gently on skin to get the full affect. If that sounds like too much, you might consider something that foams and rinses.

To me these are very gentle, the wipes are extremely soft, softer than many I have tried, and you do not have to rub hard to remove make up or just clean throughout the day for a clean and refreshed feeling.

I have very dry skin so I have to be very selective and these wipes do not burn and are very gentle. If you go to the Sephora store they will let you sample them to see if it would benefit you. I always moisturize after using any makeup remover and the wipes do not cause my skin to be dry.

My sister also has Fibromyalgia, so I can absolutely understand your hesitation. I wish we lived closer, so I could give you one to try. I personally think they would be gentle enough, but not knowing the extent of your Fibromyalgia I would hate to steer you wrong. Maybe ask a Sephora employee to try one in the store?

Best of luck!

I also have Fibro and totally understand your concern. The product is soft enough that you do not have to put pressure like a wash clothe. If you use a lot of eye makeup then I also suggest the ran containers of waterproof makeup remover. Very wet and avoids multiple wipes to wash makeup off. This will also help with Fibro symptom of touch ussues

Yep! Think of it like a washcloth that's already wet and has cleanser on it. Just wipe it all over your face, you don't even need to rinse. It doesn't leave any oily stuff behind on your skin and it does a great job removing makeup, even around the eyes.

To ensure your face is squeaky clean, I always wash my face after using these as well as any makeup remover cloths. You have to make sure your skin is completely free of dirt & makeup. Considering that I wear makeup, I always use to take off initial makeup, and then wash my face. I follow up with a little wiping of astringent, then moisturize.

Although I don't have any experience wearing stage makeup, I feel the Sephora wipes will take off your makeup with ease. You may need to swipe your face with a cleansing toner afterward but they should work just fine. I recommend that you use the eye makeup removing pads for eye makeup.

I think it would work well. If you have a lot of makeup, you might have to use two wipes, but other than that, it really does remove heavy mascara with repeated wiping; keep moving to clean parts of the wipe to get all the makeup off.

Yes, I believe you could use this product to remove makeup and cleanse your face, but.....you would have to use more than one cleansing cloth, especially if you have quite a bit of makeup on. It's worth a try and it's convenient, as you can carry this package in your bag and not have to worry about soap and water.

Im going to say no...I probably do not wear as much makeup as you typically do, and I have to really work at getting mascara and some eye makeup off with these wipes. WHICH isnt that comfortable, considering if you get the stuff on the wipes in your eye, its not gonna feel good. The skin around my eyes are super super sensitive, and wiping and wiping to get some eye makeup of is slightly uncomfortable. I wouldnt recommend these for heavy makeup removal.

Not a fan at all of these. I do like Sephora brand things but I tried these and was not impressed. I have fairly sensitive skin... it removed my makeup but not without having to scrub my face with them and frankly, it kind of hurts... a little too much pressure is needed..the pad itself tugs... and I don't use much makeup to begin with... will stick to my drugstore Clean & Clear makeup remover wipes.

I use heavy makeup to cover my tattoo and use this product and combine it with Dermablend Longwear make-up remover. I don't think you will ever find a wipe that will remove ALL make-up. Its very hard to skip the washing process, but i find this product and combining other products do suffice.

I don't think so. I have a hard time getting normal mascara off. I think for dancer makeup you'd need at least one or two for the foundation and another for your eyes/lip.

answer 12
No, definitely not. For daily makeup I had to rub my eyes very, very hard (which is not good for them) to get off REGULAR mascara and eyeliner. Definitely not good for stage makeup, I would recommend a makeup remover in a bottle that you put on a cotton pad. When I danced in high school, I would put on a layer of cold cream before I applied my makeup, and then at the end of the night you put another layer of cold cream on, let it sit for like 15 seconds, and then take a paper towel/tissue and wipe and EVERYTHING just MELTS off. It's fabulous.

Question
How are these wipes for sensitive, mature skin?
The ingredients say there is benzol alcohol in it. I have sensitive and mature skin, and any wipes with alcohol causes a bright red rash on my neck and chest area. I have to use prescription creams from my doctor to treat this, so I can't even use moisturizer for a couple of weeks until the rash disappears.

I have very dry sensitive skin. I have a very hard time using many facial products. Most products (even the very expensive brands) make me feel as if I have a sunburn when I first apply. However, these wipes do not bother my skin at all. It doesn't dry my face out either. Don't chance it if you are not sure or maybe visit your nearest Sephora and ask to try one on your lower neck to see if there is a reaction BEFORE purchasing.

In your case, I would go for a make-up remover without any type of alcohol in it. I also have very sensitive skin and gets rashes but I used that product until I found out there was some vegetable oil in it (from what I know, it forces the skin to absorb moisturizers...) so I switched to another product without alcohol : Sephora has plenty of good products. But the best way to avoid your rash would probably be to use a night serum after cleaning your face. That helps me a lot!! Hope this is helpfull!

I have very sensitive skin and these wipes are pretty good. I bought some from the drugstore that claimed they were for sensitive skin and they were awful... Burning, tight, skin is not good! I reluctantly tried these (the salesgirl said they were alcohol free, which they are NOT), and have been surprised that they are as gentle as they are. I would try them... You can always return them if you don't like them, but I'm pretty happy. Good luck!
