The Buxom and the Mint Glaze FX are both full size.
The others although not full sized are still generously sized with lots of gloss.

The only one I am aware of in this collection that is full size is the Buxom from Bare Escentuals that is full sized. Everything else I believe is a smaller "to-go" size.

answer 4
The "full-sized" product is the 0.15 oz Buxom Gloss, however, I for one find the ounce listings for the other glosses quite perplexing. For instance, the Tarte Rise and Shine gloss amount is 0.13 oz (according to what is on the side of the product), but the actual volume seems miniscule when compared to even the other minis, let alone the full-sized Buxom gloss.

I guess different densities of product might account for the variances in weight to volume ratio? Or something like that...

Only the Buxom, which retails for $18 and the Cover FX which is, I believe $20. Everything else is deluxe sample sizes. Those two alone is worth over the price of the whole kit since it's on sale for $30. Worth it to try out.

I saw it during the holidays but they are all out of stock now. Highly suggest getting it online while they are still available and on sale, if you still want to try it. I just went to my big Sephora store a couple of days ago, asked about it and there were no longer available. These kits are usually limited editions, meaning, they only make so many and then they are gone forever.

Question
Is this kit a good idea if I'm not a huge lip fanatic?
To make my question more clear, is this kit worth it if I'm not fully immersed in lip products? I've always been big on mascara, blush, and bronzer. Those are products I'm constantly buying/trying out what not. I want to complete my look more though. Would applying lipgloss and/or lipstick make my complexion that much better? My best feature is my eyes so I play them up (feels nice to be blessed with long lashes) so I usually play them up. Thank you for the time and help!:)

If you don't think $30 is too much for 10 items, I'd go for it. Most are very sheer and won't upstage your eyes and the FX Lip Treatment is a great night time treatment for dry or even normal lips and cost $22 on it's own and you get the exact same size in the set. Overall, I'd get it - you may not use one or two items, but it comes out to approx. $3 for each item and, who knows, it my turn you on to having more fun with your lips...

The collection sizes are small - easy for trials and for travel. There is a bright pink one that I find tends to stain the lips but other than that, they rest of them are pretty sheer. I would suggest that if you are not one for "lip stuff" and want to focus on your eyes, this would be a good item for you to try- just to see how you might like it. I always find that a lipgloss/ or stick does always help make the look "complete". My personal suggestion would be to try maybe a gloss or a lightweight stick first as there are some sticks that do tend to feel heavy or drying and for glosses there are some that can tend to be gloppy or tacky (sticky). On a first attempt that can definitely turn someone off! Hope this helps!!

I like this kit but the colors are mostly pinks and reds so if pink or red is not your color it would be a bad buy for you. But overall I love all the colors in this pack but they are very small so might be good for you to try some out if you don't normally wear lipstick or gloss.

Thank you both! Your info was very helpful!. :) I'm 17, I don't have too bad of a problem with dry lips (well...sometimes! I live in the Northeast so only in the winter). This kit looks very fun, but I also ordered the mascara one. Maybe I'll just pick up a lip gloss at a drug store. You know how it is, always trying to find more and more products to achieve perfection. :p

Most of the shades are neutral and pale pinks. Those colors will only compliment your overall look without taking attention away from your main attraction... your eyes. It will give you a more finished, polished look.

*FYI: There are a few glosses ... with varying shades of bronze and reds. You might find them fun to experiment with... even if you aren't a lip person.

answer 11
Yes, it's a great kit for you!

First of all, you're right - adding a bit of lipgloss will 'complete' your look. That's why I particularly like the Sephora Rusted Rose and the Smashbox Tease. They brighten up my face without competing with my eye makeup, which usually is an ivory or pale shell pink base with either browns or plums, plus eyeliner and DiorShow mascara in black. (I'm caucasian so Rusted Rose looks like my lips, only better - Tease I think would work on any complexion.)

Second, it doesn't say how old you are, but if you're over 30 you may not have realized that our lips lose their color over time (like our cheeks), so you don't realize it's happening, but adding a bit of moisture and color back in make a huge difference in restoring a bit of youthful glow. (I'm 37.)

Finally, most of the glosses are neutral enough colors that will work with most complexions - but more importantly, won't clash with strong eyes. The exception is the Lorac Multiplex gloss, which is a really bright hot pink irridescent "disco" shade - but that leaves you with 8 other colors (the other product is a primer - like a lip moisturizer - with no color). The Buxom color is darker than the others because it's full coverage, and the shimmer may be an issue - unless you're wearing browns on your eyes, then it could actually amp them up a notch!

Anyway, point is it's a great kit to play with, and the tubes are mostly small and perfect for tucking in a pocket or purse - and if you don't love certain ones, I'm sure you have a girlfriend, daughter, or sister who'd love them! I wrote a detailed review of each color in the regular Comments, in case you want to look for it. Good luck!

If you aren't going to a store and don't mind the shipping fee, I would order on the phone (w/ the sephora webpage open in front of you), as I don't recall the coupon mentioning restrictions in terms of how you bought the full size item to receive the 100 pts. I'm not sure you actually get points for the full sized product you buy when using the coupon, which is why I went w/ the full sized Sephora Glimmer Gloss in Bronzed Beauty for $10... it's awesome and super inexpensive.
Another good reason to phone in rather than simply order online is b/c the samples listed on the site may not be the ones available in real time - if you order over the phone, the SA can tell you what they indeed have, so you don't end up w/ a sample you can't use for whatever reason...

if you buy something from the kit in full size you get 100 free BI points. I'm not sure if the color has to be the same as the sample, but it doesn't have to be from the kit you bought. For example I got the Glitz and Glam kit but I'm probably going to buy a lip gloss from this set. As long as its a set from sephora that has the 100 points thing you can buy a full size from that

I'm confused. I have this and thought it read that you get 100 bonus points for buying one of the samples in full size which goes to your BI account in general. I did not read it as you can only use the points on one of these glosses but you get the points FOR buying one of them. ???

There are a 3 - the Tarte Rise and Shine in Cherry - but only the gloss side (not the stain). Buxom in Roxanne does, too, as well as Too Faced Glamour Gloss in (I can't add the actual name here b/c the 'system' says my review contains 'inappropriate language' ) . Nothing too dramatic as far as burn or tingling sensation is concerned, though I can use Lip Venom like it's chapstick so I'm not the best judge of how sensitive you might be to the plumping agents.
