Does this minimize pores?

I use mineral foundation, yet I find most primers don't in minimizing the appearance of pores, and the powder foundation just settles and makes them look larger.
does this help minimize the appearance of pores?

it doesn't actually minimize them , but a lot of primers claim to minimize the appearance of them, and i find this one actually does! another great product to reduce appearance of larger pores is Porefessional by Benefit!

Mattifier?

I don't use foundation because I find it settles in places I'd rather it not settle. I have dry skin so I used moisturizers with oils. This can cause an oily look. What I'm looking for is a primer that acts as a mattifier. Will this work?

Yes, totally. This stuff feels greasy for a second, then totally absorbs into your skin and leaves it matte all day. I have adult acne, and it makes my skin look healthy-dewy without being shiny. It is great!

Can it be used in the eye area?

I am having trouble with my concealer settling into the fine lines in my eye area. Can the anti aging face primer be used under my eyes to help prevent this? If not, do you have any suggestions of which products to use? Concealer, primer, mositurizer...etc???? Thanks!

I have been using this primer on my whole face including under my eyes and on my eyelids and it has worked wonderfully, though honestly I have never tried any of those eye primers they have out there so I don't know if any of those work better. I really love this primer so I think it should work well for you, and I hope it does!

i use this under my eyes and on my eyelids, and it's not irritating at all. however, i did find that using concealer on top of my long-wear foundation (on top of this primer), settled into tiny lines (which i normally don't even notice). i'm positive it's the foundation (with other powders and tinted moisturizers, this doesn't happen), and absolutely love this primer.

I think it's better than Smashbox. The Amazing product is lighter, doesn't cake/clog after a few hours, and makes my complexion glow like it did 20 years ago.

Is this good for just acne skin?. i have combo skin, but its a little drier in the winter, and experience the occassional breakout. i currently use Laura mercier silk creme foundation. Just want something thats gonna help mattify and glide my makeup on a little easier.

This product is terrific. I also like Laura Mercier primer, but this one is my favorite. No problems applying or blending makeup. I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and it blends beautifully.

Can this use as moisturizer as well?

I am currently using Skinprep FX Nourishing Foundation Primer & Anti-Aging Serum after toner then apply sunscreen. Can I use this primer the same, is it moisture enough so I don’t need additional lotion? I am normal/combo skin type.

I have really dry skin. I first use JM SPF40 sunscreen. Then I use a moisturizer. Then I use this, then my foundation / or BB Balm. I love this primer and wish I could just skip this step but it works so well and minimizes the amount of make up that I use

I dont need another moisturizer when i use this. I wash my face then use this afterwards, to me, its moisturizing enough where i dont need anything extra. However i have oily skin at my tzone.
Try if first without a moisturizer and if you find your skin is dry, then next time add a moisturizer underneath this.

Hourglass burned my skin. I could not use it at all. This I LOVE...makes my skin so soft and smooth. I like primer as it keeps make up from drying out my skin.

I have tried just about all primers as I barely use any make up and the right base or primer allows me to look really natural. This is THE BEST. Tarte, this pealed up on me and much of Tarte is made in China so I avoid this brand. I would go with this one as it is just perfect. Mix with other primers if you need coloor like green if you are red, as it is a clear and mixes well.
