Questions & Answers for Perricone MD Cold Plasma Sub-D

Question
preventative
It seems that a lot of people are naive enough to expect neck-lift results from this product and/or results overnight. No one is talking about long-term results or as a preventative measure. At my age I'm not looking for a miracle, just to hold back the hands of time as long as possible. Would anyone recommend this product for those reasons?

Don't know how old you are, but I think younger people will not appreciate or need the benefit of this product. For a 50+ woman whose neck is definitely starting to look aged, this product is a miracle.

That's totally what I'm using it for. I'm 36 and just starting to see signs of sagging and I've read that you prevention is much more effective than trying to get rid of wrinkles and sag.

This product did absolutely nothing for me. Using a thick moisturizer did more to improve the appearance of the skin on my neck and didn't have the side effects I experienced. From my experience, more drastic measures are needed to improve the appearance of your jaw and neck once they start to go, a cream is not going to help much if at all. I do not recommend this for you based on my experience.

No, I think that there is no product that tightens skin like adequate hydration, and facial exercise. I wish there were. if puffiness is your concern in the morning, or pillow marks, my secret weapon is a dab of Fat Girl Slim, by Bliss, on the creases. it hammers 'em right out in 15-20 minutes.

Actually, like all Perricone products, it takes 3-4 weeks to see results, but it is worth the wait. These are the only products where you do see results. Your skin texture changes, and you have a healthy glow. They are expensive, but concentrated, so a little goes a long way. I started using his products, including supplements 8 years ago, love them all!

I've had my Sub-D for a couple weeks and mine is the exact same as you describe, more of a taupe/gray color and not really consistent. Hopefully it doesn't mean it is an old/expired product as I haven't seen any improvement in my jaw/chin/neck.

Question
When do I apply this?
I know this is thinner than moisturizer and you are suppose to put lightest to heaviest products. But if I put this on first and then moisturizer, will it take away the tightening effect? Thanks for your responses.

answer 2
Yes, you are correct in applying lightest to heaviest products e.g. serums then creams. With this product however, I didn't feel as though I needed a moisturizer as this product was moisturizing. But, the sales girl at the store told me that if I choose to apply other products, I should apply a serum first, then this product, then the moisturizer last. Also, don't worry about one canceling out the other as serums and creams, etc. tend to work synergistically, especially of you use a strictly Perricone MD regimen, which I don't.

This is a neck cream, cleanse, use the cream, give it a minute to go into your skin and top with moisturizer, which will seal the cream in.

Cold Plasma Sub-D has caffeine in it compared to the original Cold Plasma. It's very stimulating on the chin and neck area. I use both Cold Plasma products and keep this one strictly on the neck and decollate.
