I use this as both moisturizer and primer for most days and my makeup lasts all day on my oily skin.

Primer is built into all Bobbi's moisturizers. You're good to apply makeup after this moisturizer!

This can be used alone or with a moisturizer. I do both depending on the day. (i have combo skin) It helps to make foundation go on more smoothly. It does have a great scent. I usually prefer no scent, but I like this.

This is a moisturizer and face primer in one. This is one of my favorite moisturizers by Bobbi Brown. It keeps my skin hydrated without looking or feeling greasy and keeps my makeup in place all day. A jar typically lasts me 2-3 months. (and that's using it once a day in the morning) If you buy this and use it and find that it is leaving your skin greasy then trust and believe me when I say, you are using too much. I find that this works great on people who are breakout prone with no issues. And it smells amazing!

I have combination skin and can be prone to breakouts too. This did not make me break out. However, I would recommend this more as a moisturizer for combo skin, and not so much as a primer. Even using a very small amount, I can tend to get a bit greasy with just this alone. It is smoothing and makes my skin feel great, but I use a mattifying primer over it if I'm going to apply makeup. So: for combo skin, I would say good day cream [except no SPF] but not necessarily good primer. Hope that helps!

So, it does look like there's at least "dimethicone crosspolymer" in it.

Hi, I'm not sure about cones.
However, I have super sensitive skin and I cannot use just ANY foundation on my face. When I had exczma I used this and my skin actually healed afterward. However, it is quite oily even though it-says "oil free". I suggest you go in to a Sephora or Nordstrom counter and get a sample before you purchase, as it is quite pricey.
