Questions & Answers for Bobbi Brown Protective Face Lotion

Question
UVB AND UVA protection??
I love this moisturizer, but my derm said to make sure it has both UVA AND UVB. I don't use this for sunscreen when I'm out in the sun, but for everyday going to work, etc, and my derm said most moisturizers just have the UVB and do not protect from the aging rays (UVA). I could not see anywhere where this says both (broad spectrum). I hate also applying regular sunscreen over my moisturizer since my face seems to break out and the makeup does not look as good.

i cannot say with any sureness that it has both. Because they don't advertise this as having an spf any longer, i would er on the side of caution and say no.

I use this over Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF 40 before makeup because it doesn't appear to have any sun protection.

This product does not have ANY sun protection in it. No SPF at all.

I emailed Bobbi Brown's folks about this because I bought the cream after it came up when I limited search results to moisturizers with SPF. The Bobbi Brown staffer said this product had SPF in it years ago, but no longer. I imagine Sephora just never updated their flags that trigger it to show up in searches.

Question
Really oil-free?
Is this really oil free? I just bought this lotion, but it doesn't say it's "oil free". Also, is this good for combination skin? I have an oily T-zone. The box says Normal to Dry Skin.

i believe it isnt actually oil free, just no oil added. It is good for combination skin types but it is meant for normal to oily skin. This product wont be enough for a dryer skin type. Try the "extra" skin care line if your looking for moisture

I have oily skin which is why I wanted to try this and it is great. NO oily feeling, its not even shiny looking. I can get dry skin this time of season and its perfectly moisturized all day. I use this over Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF 40 before my makeup.

from what i understand, technically yes. it is the same formulation it always was, it is just no longer able to advertise "SPF" due to new FDA administration.

This product is pretty lightweight, if you have dry skin you may want to use products from Bobbi Brown's "Extra" line. I have dry patches on my face and I usually dab some face oil on those parts.

This product is great for people of all skin types except for those with very oily skins. It hydrates your skin amazingly and has a very divine scent. I guarantee you won't regret this purchase.

Question
Available?
I see that the last review was posted back in April, and that this product is not in stock. Is this even for sale on Sephora anymore? I'd love to try this product, but if it's not for sale anymore, I'll need to look for something different. Thanks in advance!

Question
for super sensitive acne-prone skin?
I have very sensitive acne-prone dehydrated oily skin.
Even though the moisturizer that is dermatologist-tested and for sensitive skin doesn't work out for me quite often.
Since it doesn't list all the ingredient of the product, I'm not sure it will be a good choice or not.
Is there anyone who has same skin problem like me and likes or dislike this product?
