Questions & Answers for Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eye Liner Brush

Question
Eyebrows?
My eyebrows don't grow all the way out, and I'm looking for a skinny yet stiff brush to pain the outer edges of my eyebrows. Do you think this would work? A lot of eyeliner brushes say SOFT.

Thanks!

I would opt for a stiff angled brush for that function.

The eyeliner brush is strong enough line your brows but it gives it a skinny line that makes it look natural

You should check out Bobbi Brown's eyebrow brush. I don't think this one is stiff enough or the best tool for eyebrows. Her eyebrow brush is great for brows and has a slant which makes it perfect for application on brows

This is not a "stiff" brush....it's quite soft...

Instead of the ultra fine eye liner brush (Bobbi Brown), use the Sephora Professionnel Brow Brush #10! I use that and it's great. It's a shorter handle and goes on great for my non-existent brows!

I'm not sure, I just got this brush and I love it for using on my eyes but the bristles are rather soft and I don't think they would stay firm enough to draw in eyebrows with, But, it is the most precise eyeliner brush I've come across so it may just work.

The bristles are soft...would probably do a stiffer brush for eyebrows.

Great question. I use Laura Mercier's brow gel (in the pot). I use Bobbi's eyebrow brush. It is stiff and provides a "stipple" effect with brow gels. While the Ultra Fine Line brush might work, I think the "stipples" would be broader and less natural.

answer 11
Most slanted eyeliner brushes SHOULD work. This one, however will not because it was specifically made for the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner. It is too soft to be a eyebrow brush. I suggest a slanted eyeliner brush by either MAC or Sephora for the best bang for your buck.

This brush has a long handle not a short one. I thought that might be a disadvantage but it's just fine. It's very easy to use and really makes applying the eyeliner much faster.

A year or so ago, Bobbi did away with short versus professional. All of her brushes are now one, in-between length (i.e., shorter than profession and longer than short).

It contains a plastic sheath. Mine stretched after a few uses to the point it was a waste of time trying to keep it on. My brush is tossed in the makeup bag and so far (3 months) no obvious wear and tear. It's a good brush.

It does not come with a cap sorry. I used this traveling over seas. I just put it in a brush roll and it was fine. I'm not sure if that is an option for you or not.

I personally think it's necessary to do so, especially if you use a gel eyeliner (gel eyeliners will make it stiff if you let it dry on it). I do a quick spritz of sephora's brush cleaner and then wipe that off by brushing them on a clean towel.

I just give mine a quick wash with baby soap. It dries so fast. If you leve the product on. It dries and is very hard and scratchy. It may irritate your eyes.

If it's a liquid/gel, I would wash it every time. Powders.. maybe? I tend to wash my brushes weekly - I use loose pigments from Sugarpill and pressed powders from Sugarpill and Urban Decay.

I haven't used either of your options, but suggest you take a look at MUFE's angled brush #262. It's super easy to use and can quickly provide a variety of beautiful looks.
