Questions & Answers for Bobbi Brown Metallic Eye Shadow

Question
subtle shimmer
I was wondering if these eye shadows are too glittery for daytime wear. I don't mind a subtle shimmer.

DEFINETLY not. i wear this to school everyday and have gotten wonderfull coments on it. The make up is more shimmery than sparkly. I am 13 and it is acceptable for use in any occasion. All though it says HIGH SHIMMER it is more shimmery when in great lighting. BEAUTIFUL and reccomended allways.

Because you can usually go from a very light touch to way-out-there dramatic, the slight shimmer is not only not a problem but it's a benefit!

Definitely not too glittery! I had really sparkly makeup but find that this has a very nice and subtle shimmer. If you use it lightly enough you still get the color without all the drama, which makes it nice for daytime. I also have found that using the shadow as a sort of liner on the top lashes looks really lovely, but not too done up

I don't think that it's too much for daytime, but I wear it with a matte e/l and e/s during the day. I've worn Rockstar and Burnt Sugar to work and not felt like it was too shimmery or over the top at all. My office is relatively conservative, BTW.

Nope, they are fine for daytime. It looks more shimmery in the container - feather it out for daytime.

No, they are not glittery--but have a lovely sheen. You can build the color from a soft glow to a full sheen. It is lovely.

Definitely not too shimmery for daytime use. I bought the BE metallic Patina at the same time to compare colors, and I found the BE had way more shimmer and pop. In comparison, this was fairly subdued.

They aren't glittery like with pieces of glitter that get everywhere. Metallic really does describe them perfectly - shimmery, but blendable, so you can tone down the shimmer as much as you want!
