This product will definately help even out your complexion, however, it is not a intensie lightening treatment. If you have sun damage your best bet is to buy something like Murad's Age Spot Lightening Gel. Age spot is basically just another word for sun spots or sun damage. It's $60 a bottle but I use their Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel and it has worked WONDERS on my red acne scars. Sun spots are a little different than acne scars tho so that's why they make two different types of lightening gels. If you buy the Age Spot Lightening Gel I think you will be very pleased with the results! It takes about 1-2 months to see results, because it is a gradual lightening process, but you will not be disappointed! However, you must also stay out of the sun, if you don't, your sun spots will just keep coming back and you will be wasting your money. I hope this helps! :)

It has some retinol, which will aid in the diminishing process but the most important ingredient is the Astaxanthin. This will prevent any further sun damage. I would also suggest a good omega 3 supplement that has astaxanthin in it like Whole Mega....By summer, you will be protected inside and out!

I do not have sun spots so I can't tell you first hand. But my mom started using this product maybe a week before me and she commented that it has lightened the spots on her face. She's really loved the effect it's had so far.

I just purchased this and I can tell you that it feels fantastic on my skin, smells great, but I started using it every other day, since I noticed my skin was getting dry & flaky after 2 uses. I am concerned also about $$...I've found a small pump for each side of my face, then a small pump for neck...I include my chin and forehead in each "side". at first, I was putting more than was really needed. I love it.

If you have combo/oily skin, I would use one pump and for dry skin, two.

I use two pumps. BUT, I also have very dry skin and I do not use a moisturizer over this at night. Honestly, you really only need one unless you feel extremely tight after washing your face (like I do). It gives you enough product to cover your entire face in one pump. And yes, it is very expensive, but I will tell you this; IT IS WORTH IT. My skin has completely changed thanks to this product. It is dewy, glowing and balanced. I have honestly cut a lot of other products I was using out of my routine because this serum does it all. So, I may be spending $50 a bottle, but I am also saving money since I don't use as many products anymore.

I use this product first, after cleansing....then alittle JM argon oil on top of it, and Ole Henrickson's eye gel.

This product is meant to be used first in your nightly routine. You need to apply it to your bare skin so it can work it's magic. If you apply it over your moisturizer it will only sit on top of your skin and do very little to improve your complexion. I have very dry skin and honestly, I don't even need a moisturizer with this. It does it all! I use this, eye cream, and spot treatment (on top of the serum) at night and I'm good to go!

It's a serum, so it goes on after cleansing and toning (if you choose to tone), but before the moisturizer. I would imagine if you had really oily skin, you might be able to use this in lieu of a moisturizer. It is hydrating but absorbs super fast and is not oily.

You do not need alot to cover your face and neck...just a little pump for each area. My first bottle lasted a month and a half...just started my second bottle, and will be using it alittle more sparingly now that I know it doesn't take alot. I use it first then apply JM argan oil [small amount] over all..then Ole Henrickson's eye gel.

I have been using this serum now for months, at least four or five. I have only had to buy two bottles of it, and I use two pumps each night (you really only need one but I have dry skin so I like the feeling of two). You can probably get about 2-3 months out of one bottle if you're using it every night as directed. 3 months being the limit.

Don't be overwhelmed by all your goodies...I am not sure how long it will last but it is a great product!
