Questions & Answers for Perfect Formula Daily Moisture

Question
Under "usage" it says not to use this product over "treatment". Does this mean if you want to use the Gel Coat you can't use this product as well?

I will print the directions for you right from the bottle... "Brush on top of nails, under nails and on cuticles daily. Do not use over wet nail color or treatment. Can be used on polished or natural nails." Based on that, and your question... I think the usage directions mean to not put it over WET polish or treatment. When it's dry, you're fine. That's how I'm reading it, anyway. Hope this helps!

The instructions say
"do not use over wet nail polish or treatment"

Key word there is WET. It's made to work with the treatment, just don't use it over the treatment while the treatment is wet.

I took this to mean they want you to the conditioner on clean nails. You can also use it daily over the dry gel coat, I manicure my nails weekly & repolish, then use the moisturizer daily, they looks great. Hope this helps...

Question
Is this meant to be used daily?
I've stopped biting my nails for awhile now. However they are extremely brittle and soft. Would this product be good for nail growth and strength also?

I have had amazing good luck with it. I do not naturally have very good nails. They split and peel. I also abused them with too many gel manicures. I used this oil almost every night for 2 weeks and they look and feel SO much better and peel less as well.

I apply it once to twice a week. You can apply it daily if you wish, but I don't personally see any benefit to doing so. Unless psychologically it helps remind you not to chew.

Congrats on your new, beautiful nails!

This product is not a polish. It is a brush-on, thin, oil/serum-like product. It contains, jojoba oil, cyclotetrasiloxane, hydrolyzed keratin, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E). (What the HECK is cyclotetrasiloxane??)

The directions state: "Brush on top of nails, under nails and on cuticles daily. Do not use over wet nail color or treatment. Can be used on polished or natural nails.

It's like lotion - if you stop using lotion, your skin will get dry. So, if you stop using this cuticle/nail oil, your cuticles and nails will get dry. BUT, it's really not that expensive when you consider that you use less than a drop a day. I just bought this, but I imagine that it will last about a year before I have to buy another two bottles.
