These are the extra strength peel pads, so if you are using AHA products for the first time, I would start by using these every other day or every third day. You'll know if you're using them too often, because if you are you'll get small dry patches of flaky skin. However, if your skin is used to AHAs, you can use them every day. I generally leave Step 1 on until it starts to sting around my nose or until I get some redness, because my skin is pretty used to it. Then I neutralize.

I use these in the morning after washing since I use a retinol cream at night, but you can do either day or night. Just make sure you're using sunscreen in the daytime, since this will definitely make you more prone to sunburn (it's worth it though). You use the step 1 pad, wait, then follow it up with step 2 - you have to use both pads each time you apply or it won't work properly. Thus, even though there are 60 pads altogether, there are 30 applications. If you're using them every day, they will last you a month... but more likely you'll use them every other day, which will give you a good 2 months' supply. They last a long time so you don't have to worry about using them up fast.

The only thing you should ask yourself before buying is: does it bother you to let a wet product dry on your face? The neutralizing pads are quite wet. The results with this product are great, but ultimately I switched to another AHA peel because I wanted to rinse after I used it. You may want to mosey into Sephora and try one out in-store, since there's no sink or water needed with this product.

I have used several cleaners before using this product and found any deep cleaner that gets into the pores works best.

I replace my toner with this at night. Since it already has anti-aging properties in it I would replace my toner or serum at night with this. Hope this helps!

I use both!! The Exfolikate is more of a manual exfoliant, you need to be at the sink to rinse off. The Dr. Gross pads are nice because you just swipe and your done. I don't know what your daily routine is, but I like to switch it up. Hope this helps!!

Definitely! I even use my Clarisonic with a gentle cleanser right before using these pads and so far I have no irritation at all. I like to think the Clarisonic sets the stafe for the pads to really work.

I use it on my neck and face, and I have seen a difference. However, I am not someone who breaks out, so not sure if it will diminish the appearance of spots from pimples.

I think just until it dries but I usually used it at night and washed it off in the morning. It seemed to work well that way. I put moisturizer on top of it after about 15 minutes or so. It worked really well for me.
