Stila One Step Complexion Brush #33

What it is:A buffing and foundation brush that works overtime to make foundation and concealer application a breeze. What it does:This dual-ended foundation and concealer brush allows you to blend both liquid and powder products seamlessly for effortless makeup application and a flawless finish. One side beautifully blends liquid, creams, and powder foundation into your skin, while the other delivers precision concealing for a perfected, polished complexion. The synthetic bristles are shaped to imitate application with your fingertips, but are firmer and more flexible for quicker, easier makeup application. What else you need to know:The tapered brush tip can burrow into tiny, hard-to-reach crevices and the synthetic bristles eliminate the transfer of oils and bacteria. It can also be used to apply eye shadow and cheek color.

answer 2
Yes, the larger brush is rounded (as is the smaller brush). The brush measures about 7 1/4" from tip to tip.

answer 3
It is a rounded top, which I did not like for a foundation brush. Most are usually flat, and I find easier to apply. I'm not sure how long it is from top to bottom, no longer than any of sephora's other foundation brushes.

how does this compare to the sephora platinum air brush # 55? I am torn as to which one to buy?

I actually own both of these brushes so I might be able to help. Depending on what kind of finish you wish to achieve that's the one I'd get. The Stila One Step Complexion Brush is very dense/has a tapered end and the head is a lot smaller than the Sephora #55. The Stila brush will give you a bit of a heavier coverage/targets spots a lot easier but will take you a bit longer to apply foundation than the Sephora #55. I actually don't use this brush for foundation rather I use it for cream blushes or concealers and it works well for that. The bristles on the Sephora brush on the other hand are less densely packed, it has a rounded end and applies foundation effortlessly. Both are made of synethic fibers, one is obviously dual-ended so it's convenient in that sense. I'd go with the Sephora one to apply foundation, that is just my suggestion though! Hope that was of some help.

Try this one! It is by far the best foundation brush. I work in makeup and everyone I work with uses this one, too!

Can you use the smaller side brush with cream concealers?

answer 1
I use it with a thick liquid concealer, but I imagine it would work just as well with a cream concealer. The bristles are pretty dense and kind of stiff in that there isn't a ton of flex, but the bristles are soft and non abrasive at the same time -- so I think it can pick up a heavier cream concealer and blend out pretty well.
