I actually own both of these brushes so I might be able to help. Depending on what kind of finish you wish to achieve that's the one I'd get. The Stila One Step Complexion Brush is very dense/has a tapered end and the head is a lot smaller than the Sephora #55. The Stila brush will give you a bit of a heavier coverage/targets spots a lot easier but will take you a bit longer to apply foundation than the Sephora #55. I actually don't use this brush for foundation rather I use it for cream blushes or concealers and it works well for that. The bristles on the Sephora brush on the other hand are less densely packed, it has a rounded end and applies foundation effortlessly. Both are made of synethic fibers, one is obviously dual-ended so it's convenient in that sense. I'd go with the Sephora one to apply foundation, that is just my suggestion though! Hope that was of some help.

Try this one! It is by far the best foundation brush. I work in makeup and everyone I work with uses this one, too!
