It's a GREAT brush for blending the color INSIDE of the outer V, but is not a good brush to attempt to create a defined outer V. You need a more defined brush to put the shadow on the lower edge of the browbone above the crease and outside the eye in that V shape. This brush is really light and fluffy and you would not be able to get a defined V. I always use it after I define my V to blend the color inside of the V. I start at the outer lid and sweep inward inside of the V. I can not live without this brush!
It's a little too large and soft for the outer v. It's good for blending the crease but it's really soft. Because it's so soft, it feels good for blending but doesn't pick up color well. You'll want to apply the color with a slightly stiffer brush and use this one to blend.
This brush is great for blending, as for adding additional color it will not add a lot, just a light dusting of it, a sheer wash of color will be added. Its better if you use a regular eyeshadow brush and then blend the outer V with this brush.
